Had a good time out with everyone friday night, had some pretty cool stuff go on. It was nice to meet Reo and to get out with steven and waylon. Looking forward to hearing the audio when steven is done with it.
I went on the first expedition and it was incredible so if you want to do some research with knowledgeable people sign up for one of the dates above. I will be going out with them again in the future.
Steven I was using a Sony digital recorder. It was great weather, got down to the low 30’s at night and high 50″s to low 60″s during the day. You should be fine with the items you mentioned. You should audio recorder or two, camera, night vision and thermal if you have it. A member of the expedition have a seek camera hooked up to his tablet and it worked great and those seek cameras are around $250-$300. Hope this info helps

The expedition was great and everything chuck said is fact. I will be going through my audio this week but the vocals we were getting we’re awesome, it was just like wes said, definitely Jurassic park. I’m looking forward to seeing what chuck got on film, the drone video was good as well. The print chuck cast is pretty good. I’m pretty sure that anyone that went on the expedition is not a skeptic any longer if they came to the expedition a skeptic. Bob, mo, Tim, Sean, mark and Javier are awesome and I looking forward to the next expedition
I’m going, I’m bringing basic camping stuff, game cam, camcorder, digital recorders, machete. I live in Houston and as crazy as the weather can be here it could be in the 70’s one day and in the 40″s the next during feb so keep that in mind when packing. Check what the weather will be before you come down for the expedition
