Ben H, You have put an enormous amount of thought into this theory and it’s fantastic. I am aware that there are many theories of aliens being involved with Sasquatch. I personally don’t know, but very much value your ideas.
I live in the Colorado Rockies and have many friends who have had encounters with Sasquatch and some of those friends believe they are large charismatic fauna such as bear or big cats. I have other friends who very much think they are inter-dimensional beings because of things they have experienced with them.
The two don’t seem to get along very well, unfortunately.
With almost 4000 sightings (credible and reported) of Sasquatch in the U.S since 1992, you would definitely think the Gov’t would be investigating. And maybe they are and we just don’t know.
I have a friend who was working for a major university in Colorado. She was getting her Masters degree and her assignment was to study Bighorn Sheep in the Sangre de Cristo Mtns in Colorado for a month. She took her tent and camped out in an area where bighorn sheep grazed. One night she heard motion outside her tent. She looked out her flap and right in front of her was what she reported was an 8′ bigfoot. When she screamed, she said the bigfoot mimicked her face. She picked up and was out of there.
Being a biologist, she felt it important to report it to her university. No mention was ever made of it. It was as if what she experienced never happened.
Gov’t coverup in regards to large charismatic unknown fauna.
Who knows?

ShannonD, Yes, I know many very credible folks who have had experiences as well. Attorneys, law enforcement, City employees, etc have related to me various experiences they can’t explain. I believe you. I guess the question is what is the genesis for these experiences.
chris422, that’s a big question. But, from what I’ve been told ghosts used to be living and demons were never human. Does that make sense? That’s just how it’s been explained to me. Hope that helps a little. I’m sure there are some folks here who could explain it way better than me.

Good point about the chatter, Gabriel. I personally haven’t heard an EVP with the voice at a higher velocity, but mediums that have been on my tour tell me that’s how they hear voices. So good observation! I respect Knobby’s and everyone’s interpretations, as I’ve said, I really don’t know what ghosts really are. But, definitely a fascinating subject.
I create and give haunted tours for a living and have had many experiences on my tours from full body apparitions appearing within our group many times to disembodied voices, folks getting touched and scratched from an unseen hand, etc. I agree with Wes when he says be careful what you wish for. Some guests on my tour really, really want to have an encounter with a spirit. I had one man recently tell me he wanted to get picked up and thrown by a ghost on my tour, in a location where that has happened. No, you really don’t. I’ve had spirits follow me home after researching a location and causing havoc. I’ve had to clear them out. Oddly, even though I’ve been doing this for years, I’m still a little bit of a skeptic. Because I really don’t know what ghosts are and if possibly they are a manifestation of our own thoughts, fears, etc. I also agree with Stephan. Stephan could you give an example of when people don’t know if they are having an experience and they are? Thanks group!
