ParticipantAs I stated before, there is either no Sasquatch or a cover up exists. Guys like Bob Garret are a threat every time he says hello.

ParticipantI also want to echo Steven’s sentiments. The first time I met the team, I was very confident that they had a hot area, but I had some questions about the extent of the group’s claims. I asked a lot of difficult questions, but I left a believer, the last expedition only reinforced it!

ParticipantSteven with all due respect, the drone footage you saw was a very low resolution version. There are substantially better copies of that footage.

ParticipantI would like to see more shows on how to do the field research or how to create virtual research teams working together. Some people will never go out into the woods, but maybe they want to help analyze audio or video. Some people are good at researching the history of the area. And some people just want to stay in the woods and don’t like pouring over the data. We are a body of different strengths and capabilities. I love stories, but I also want to be part of it. I would like to see SashChron go into that direction as well. Taking it to the next step. Of course, this is a feedback loop to more stories!

ParticipantI shoot competively and my trainer teaches us to use self hipnosis when we shoot to manage our emotional state. It literally becomes automatic when you train with it. The idea is that you are controlling your mind state which controls your accuracy immensely. You learn to rely on your subconscious when shooting. This applies to both competition as well as high stress situations.

ParticipantSteven, are you a reloader, that is some pricey ammo?

ParticipantTonight was my first night scouting the place. It is a vast area. I want to start leaving recorders at various points to get a feel for sounds in the area. I am an army of one so far, and with a limited set of equipment. Even if I don’t find any signs I want to create a baseline of activity and monitor over time. That is why I would like to pinpoint prime spots and stick with it.
Perhaps my approach is foolish?

ParticipantI agree about shot placement, but to do that accurately under stress requires a lot of training and weekly maintenance to keep up your skills. From my understanding, a head shot in the snot locker is the most effective shot, just like on humans. What if the creature is moving, can you time a shot? These are all skills that require training. If you are not trained to that level, go big, real big.

ParticipantIMO the problem with Occam’s razor is scale. Grand conspiracies can and do exist because of unlimited capital and influence. The fallacy is in thinking in small scale, or efficiency (limited resources) terms which is a natural constraint of Occam’s razor, but not of very large institutions such as government, banking, etc…

ParticipantArlene no worries, I understand your position. You can never say that this trip didn’t create some memories though!!!

ParticipantThanks Knobby, I didn’t pay for a guide service, so there is no reimbursement due to me. However, I did pay for some dam fine food that I noticed was still in that white cooler shown in the pictures that Steve took. Those would have been good ribs…

ParticipantIf they started using guns to hunt, they would certainly be a lot easier to find. I just hope they have a good ammo source because our Walmart is always out of stock.

ParticipantArlene, I noticed your comment in the Episode comment section:
“One short comment that some may find interesting is that the F”eds told Bob that some of the participants ratted him out. There was talk of 2 moles that were planted amongst our group. Heard this directly from Bobs mouth.
I don’t believe that Steven touched on that.”I did not know that they had said there were two moles. They told me that there was a badge in the group, (i.e. ONE). They also made other comments to other people about this subject. It’s possible that they had a mole, which would also be quite a commitment for a small fine, or they were using a common interrogation tactic called lying.
Just for the record BTW, it damn sure wasn’t me!
