Hey all, been a while since I’ve posted but I’m gonna weigh in on this one.
I don’t doubt that Jonnie has these things around, but I want to give my thoughts on the photo. The camera definitely caught “something” in motion, hence the blur. The time stamp says middle of November almost 6AM. Look at the top and you can the sky through the trees starting to brighten. Just the time when turkeys start coming down from the nights roost. Which would be caught as a blur on a game as one lands and flaps its’ wings to wake up.

It’s kind of rare for wild turkeys to be roosting so close to a house, but it’s a possibility. My best guess as to what the camera actually caught is an owl just as it hit a rabbit. No way to ever know for sure but that’s my take.

Wolf, as far as behavioral changes, after losing my wife’s father to covid last year, my mother-in-law who had the virus at the same time has completely turned on her most of her family and friends. She is the exact opposite of the woman I knew prior. That was from the virus. Not the vaccine.

As far as me and my wife, we are just as loving a couple as you would ever want to meet. As to the vaccine, I will absolutely get it. Especially if it starts to cover the variants that have popped up. It is a horrible virus, wolf. I don’t know if I would survive it again.

Hello all. Forgive me, it’s been about three weeks since I’ve felt like coming in to follow the discussions.

I’m glad to say I’ve beaten the covid virus. It was no fun at all, though I apparently had a fairly mild case… I had 3 or 4 days that scared the hell out of me, but for the most part it was like a bad cold.

My wife also got it about a week after I started with a small cough every morning. Even though she had the two part vaccine in February and March. The health department said she was one of seven in TN that they call “break through” patients that caught the virus despite the vaccine. With the vaccine her symptoms were negligible and only lasted about 4 days.

I don’t know how this fits into the vaccine discussion, but I was 4 days away from getting the vaccine when my symptoms first started. After coughing up blood clots for over a week, I wish I had gotten the shots earlier. I’m breathing much better now and only time will tell how much scarring my lungs suffered.

I’ve never been big on vaccinations but this one is different. I don’t know how to convince anyone to do it unless you’ve lost people like we have and have had the virus like we have. But I’m fully convinced that the doctors and scientists that have worked tirelessly on these vaccinations have done so with the best of intentions.

Good luck everybody. Please be safe. Im still not 100% but I’ll try to check back in soon.

I’m no paleontologist, but it is shaped like a proximal phalange. Which are the bones in your fingers or toes as they first leave your hand or foot. The same type bones can be found in many animals.

Being in Florida I’d be more inclined to think large reptile or aquatic mammal. A little research by the finders would likely lead to a true identification. To automatically claim fossilized Sasquatch thumb is just irresponsible at best.

My “rational” brain goes to this. Louisiana, even Northern areas stay above freezing most of the time. On a particular cold night a camper pieced together from different metals is going expand and contract at different rates. Ron’s brother said it was random light tapping. Ever listen to a car engine after a long drive as it cools down? That random tink, tink, tap? That’s what my mind went to reading his story. But as we all know, who knows!

When I was a young teenager my grandfather had a little cabin with a metal roof that I would camp in with my brother and a few friends. We would regularly hear and find hickory nuts that landed on the roof at night. Thing was, the nearest hickory trees were a good 40 feet from the cabin. There were several nights when we would be rudely woken by what sounded like a baseball bat hitting the back wall. There’s nothing like the sound of four or five 13 year old boys screaming in terror in a pitch dark cabin! LOL!

I can’t say for sure what it was. The cabin was built a few feet off the ground on cedar posts so we reasoned it was just the cabin settling and flying squirrels dropping the nuts. But like Ron’s brother’s experience, again unless you actually catch them in the act or find evidence it’s probably safer to assume it’s the big guys than not!

I will never understand the minds of small people who incessantly live the life of a toilet snake… getting their jollies from constantly stirring up $h!+.

Yeah, we all want new Sasquatch stuff, but it’s the nature of the beast that new stuff is rare. You can only cover the same pics and videos and tree breaks and audio and topics so many times.

The rest is just filler that keeps those interested here.

So I’d suggest that if you want to add more to the conversation of Bigfoot that you move to North America or somewhere else with known populations and get your own content to post and quit posting nothing but confrontational tripe.

    But hey, just kidding.????

Definitely a crazy thing to hear in the middle of somewhere but I’m going with human. Sounded like a woman “trying” to sing with headphones on echoing up the hollow.

I’ll set mine up like this. I love to dream. I love to play around in dreams. I normally think of what I want to dream about as I’m going to sleep and enjoy dreaming about it the rest of the night. Whether it’s flying around like a bird or playing in a pile of 20 year old nymphos. What can I say, I’m a guy!
    ????????

Point is that I usually control what happens in my dreams. On the occasion I have no control I pay attention. Like the one I had last night.

The gist of it was that after we had spent several years in living as sterile and germ free as we have been doing, our immune systems got lazy and a new super bug came along that made the Black Plague look like the sniffles. I woke up in complete panic mode and I’ve been up since 2am. It was one of those “so real” type dreams.

I really hope it’s just a dream and not a prediction!

Daniel O, this one is frighteningly close to what I’ve heard. I’m sure the poor guy felt his ribs vibrate from that scream!

“I think it’s time to go.”
    Ya think?

I came across this one a while back on accident while watching mushroom hunting videos and forgot about posting it. Thanks for doing so Augustine.

If I remember right I had watched several of the guys’ mushroom videos when I stumbled onto that one. That scream about me wet my britches. I think it’s about as real and credible as it gets on an audio capture. Very impressive, and absolutely terrifying to hear.

My gut says absolute BS on this one. There is a shed or hunting blind at 2 minutes that I’m pretty sure I saw from a different angle after he said he’d been walking for another 45 minutes. I don’t think he ever left the area where he first started filming. AND when you do hear those growls, you don’t “chuckle chuckle yuk yuk” and keep talking. You freeze. Hoping like hell that whatever it is goes the other way.

Just his tone and manner of speaking makes me think he made the video to amuse his buddies and collect clicks.

But, I have been known to be wrong once or twice…????

I can’t make out much on my phone. I wish I could see it on the laptop but like I told M earlier on MeWe, my WiFi is down from the bombing in Nashville yesterday that apparently took out a main at&t hub.

You guys should really check out the MeWe page that Knobby set up. It’s pretty cool to be able to live chat with members you’ve known here for years!

Knobby, she turned the mask around to the “clean” side. What’s the problem? ????

I know two brothers in Cannon County in south middle Tennessee who have seen a large black cat on several occasions around the area known as Short Mountain. Both their sightings were in the last 10-15 years.
