That will all happen in good time. A Google maps will be created with the encounters marked. But first the Wiki has to be built. You can’t just scrape the data off of SC descriptions. There’s not enough there to do a database. We need fans to put in information on each episode. Then the other features will come. But the data has to come first.

It’s not going to happen over night. And hardly anyone knows about the site right now. There are people posting though. Your index page is nothing but the same thing that you can do on SC website. Try searching for a specific location from an episode that was mentioned but not in the description. Much like these forums that index page leaves a lot to be desired. Eventually WikiSCF will have a google maps with all those locations and numbers of encounters at those locations. That index page will never be able to do more than it does now. Sounds like you have no faith in the SC fan base. I’m guessing you’re calling them lazy for not filling in 1000 episodes of information over night.

You do know what a wiki is don’t you? And it’s a fandom. Once information like names, keywords and LOCATIONS are entered it will blow your index page out of the water. The index page is no better than just doing a browse on this site. You can’t extract any real information out of it.
