My thoughts after reading the story: Interesting that hairy man is painted in Red, White and Black but the female/wife and child are only red. The creation story shared by the tribe that PEOPLE come from hairy man…not the other animals, but they clearly separate his origin by giving him 3 colors, and what comes after (wife & child) only one color. (red for all humans/people) The somewhat accredited but controversial DNA analyzation of Bigfoot by Dr Melba Ketchum had the mitochondrial being homo sapien but the nuclear unknown-aka-“the result of males of an unknown hominin species crossing with female Homo sapiens.” If we are to only cross reference, I find it interesting that this tribe, it’s stories, would actually match those findings as well. Just my thoughts after reading this. Thank you Linda B!
