Ryan RParticipantIt’s 25 miles south of Lufkin on 69.
All national forest land to the south. Definitely some thick woods.
I was out there one morning about three weeks ago. I was loading a trailer with logs. I was the only one out there. Everytime I’d swing the loader around to grab some logs out of the pile the lights would reflect off of a pair of eyes at the tree line watching me. Lights were not strong enough to see anything but the eyes. Not evidence of sasquatch by any means but still creepy. They watched me for about 30 minutes and then we’re gone.

Ryan RParticipantI’m a logger out of Zavalla TX and I’ve seen some odd stuff around there and to the south. No full on visuals but weird stuff I couldn’t explain for sure

Ryan RParticipantNahani valley and the valley of headless men is by and far one of my very favorite mysteries. I’ve been arm chair studying it for years and really want to get up there one of these days. The amount of crazy things that happened there is just mind boggling. Also another one of my favorite mysteries that happened not very far from there is the saga of The mad Trapper of Rat River. If you haven’t heard of it I promise it’s worth checking out.

Ryan RParticipantAs mentioned above I absolutely loved Conspiracy Corner and have always wished Wes would bring it back. It was very interesting and thought provoking.
With that said I have a couple topics I would like to see Wes work on.
1. The valley of headless men (Nahani Nat Park) in the NW Territories. Don’t even know where to start with this. So many legends. So many cryptids. Look up Hammers on Peters videos and books on the subject.
2. The Mad Trapper of Rat River (largest man hunt in Canadian history for a long time and still possibly is. Who was this guy and why did he do what he did. Led the RCMP on an all out foot chase for days in the Yukon wilderness in Winter. He may have been the bad guy but he was a bad ass

Lufkin TXWould really like to meet up with people in the area that actually go out and search. I just moved here and have not met anybody yet and do not know the area.
