I mentioned this sort of thing in a post recently; how the Bigfoot world is dying. I feel the Sasquatch zeitgeist peaked in 2015. This is just another casualty I’m afraid. Thank God Wes is keeping us all safe and warm here at SC.

I agree with everything said here. However there are few of the media offerings I really miss, like Monsters and Mysteries in America. That program did a really good job of re-enactments and did so with a pretty big budget. I’m in my 50s and I remember the 1st golden age of Bigfoot, the 70s, the period in which I became interested in the subject. Boggy Creek and Mysterious Monsters were great intros to the topic of Bigfoot then. I agree with the commercial aspect mentioned by Steven J and others, but it also brought out some people who had been otherwise hesitant to come forward. Good to hear from everybody!

Wes, no need for apologies of being human. Your relationship with John was obviously something very special. We are here for you!

Definitely feline but very scary nonetheless. I agree with Garry about it being a cougar.

He lives in Victoria, BC. Got to meet him in 2003 while on our honeymoon. What a wonderful man. He gave a free lecture about Sasquatchand stayed several hours afterwards answering all questions. I hope he pulls through this!!! Prayers and thoughts are with him.

Yeah, I agree, there are no tracks or any other evidence pointing to a Sasquatch. Something spooked them though but most likely a natural occurrence during the frigid night.

The only aspect of this I find kind of questionable is the request made to not “film” Bob. This seems unreasonable to ask of anyone at a public conference where people are speaking live in front of an audience. Some come from across the country to see these speakers and naturally want to record them. Hell, you can record the President if he is out making rounds in public view. This is what some folks were complaining about from what I understand. It added to the appearance of Bob being “handled”. Just wanted to get that opinion out there. I would have been pissed if I had come all the way from North Carolina and told I couldn’t record Bob at the 50th Anniversary commemoration.

This was a groundbreaking documentary. First real bigfoot program to bring science to the subject. It also is responsible for the current modern outlook on Sasquatch and it preserved the Bigfoot story through the otherwise quiet 90’s.

This storm looks like it will affect the Big Thicket pretty harshly. Hope all the humans and Boogers stay safe there too.

Sheer boredom!!! The most excitement resulted from them driving on an old rickety bridge. Moneymaker was useless as usual and the Lowe kids ridiculed him rightfully so. Nothing new here but thanks for trying Rob!!

Waiting for the Bigfoot episode, no interest in the other stuff. Nothing new.
