Even if you’ve had an encounter it’s hard enough to wrap your head around or to think your eyes weren’t playing tricks you.
A downfall to groups or individuals in the human race is the false sense of security that we are superior or more knowledgeable than the next. Advances will be achievable faster in every field when we open our minds and essentially work together as one. Maybe someday at another level of evolution we will overcome the primitive instincts that were a must for self preservation and see the bigger picture in at least a global sense…until then our greed, pride, gluttony, wrath etc. hold us back, even from simple questions in life like “does this creature really exist”. I think we’ll all know when we are deserving to know.
