ParticipantI was actually intrigued to read new posts from the likes of Papa yeti,
Dave T and Waylon….but NO it’s a 4 year old thread and they don’t post here anymore.
Is DP now coming for an interview? Hard to believe that so my question would be:
Who’s your favorite Little Rascal? Is it Alfalfa? Or is it Spanky?May 14, 2019 at 2:58 pm #149948Eric B
ParticipantI’ve seen those types of heli in British Columbia lifting and carrying logs out of rough impassable terrain in the forest. Are there logging operations going on in that forest?

ParticipantI think he’s Peter Caine’s long lost brother. Both guys need to volunteer somewhere or get a job……..WAY too much time on their hands.

ParticipantThanks Shannon for posting these refreshing videos. This guy is a complete straight-shooter with many years of boots on the ground in some of the squatchiest places. Seems like he has known of them for so long that it’s old news to him now. I love his attitude about stupid people and trolls….got no time for them and he doesn’t give a s*#@ about what they think. I can tell he’s a proven hunter and he definitely knows the animals in his forest. To me his words carry more clout than someone who’s never been off the pavement. Thanks again.

ParticipantVery interesting Gum! Would a new Alpha also kill all the young that he hadn’t sired?

ParticipantThat sounds a lot like human male-female roles Wolf! LOL
I have read only about 3-4 reports referencing sexual activity. If someone were able to ascertain/observe the sexual behavior of Sasquatches it would answer many questions. Do they have recreational sex? Or for procreation only? If they are like many other wild animals, then the females are only having sex with the Alpha and all offspring are sired by the Alpha.
With no Viagra in the wild it would seem the time would come when the Alpha was no longer effective and a new one would take his place. David had a great question…. If each troop is a family unit sired by one Alpha……do his sons kill or run-off the old guy when he is no longer the badass? I would think that their territory is in many areas at different times of the year.
I’m interested to hear what you guys think.April 3, 2019 at 9:31 am #147929Eric B
ParticipantI think the respectful way Wes treats his guests and witnesses now is a direct result of how he was treated as a witness. His 500 plus shows since then stand on their own. Will who?

ParticipantNow that I’ve had my coffee…..I see that you said June. Great time to hit that trip. Weather should be good but not too hot yet. Now we probably don’t get heat like Texas but it can get plenty warm in the summer.

ParticipantHi Shannon,
I live in Washington. You didn’t mention how much time you are spending on your trip or when you’re heading out. I would suggest traveling north on the Pacific Coastal Highway (101) for at least some sections of your trip. The Oregon coast is beautiful and squatchy most times of the year as is the Washington coast. Astoria, Multnomah Falls and Beacon Rock are prominent places on the Columbia river gorge. Many mountains nearby as well; St. Helens, Mt Rainier, Mt Hood. The Olympic peninsula and rainforest is a must see also: Ocean Shores, Copalis, LaPush, Neah Bay, Sekiu, Forks, Sequim are great squatchy places to visit. Make sure you try all the local seafood!! If you have passports, Vancouver Island is a short ferry ride from Port Angeles to Victoria. The Royal BC Museum of Natural History and high tea at The Empress hotel won’t disappoint. The closer you get to the I-5 corridor (freeway) the more traffic you will encounter so plan accordingly.
I don’t know how far inland you plan to go but Eastern Washington, Idaho and Montana are also full of beautiful squatchy places. I have been going to these places I mention my whole life to hunt, fish, camp, hike.February 19, 2019 at 9:39 am #144880Eric B
ParticipantI find this very interesting but several things stick out:
The sheer size of many stones in the megalithic structures are too large to cut and transport any distance even with today’s technology and machines. Foerster points out the many patch jobs done by much later peoples like the Incans at Machu Pichu. They used much smaller rocks and more primitive methods to make these patches. Using acid is an interesting consideration but if that is so how did they get the edges, margins and joints so precise? Perfectly level cuts and perfect 90 degree angles on huge, many ton boulders would seemingly be impossible even with today’s equipment. The distance and terrain over which many of these huge blocks were moved from where they were quarried also seems prohibitive.February 1, 2019 at 6:17 am #143773Eric B
ParticipantI’m not wanting to spoil it for her. It has enough of a creep factor all by itself.
