ParticipantInteresting map Danny, thank you. The one reported dogman report in Washington state is in Snohomish County, where I live. I really haven’t heard of any dogman sightings I’m WA personally, but as we all know: You never know. Lots of squatch sightings though all around here

Participantyes, my keyboard has many bite marks in it as well. There are people from all walks of life here. Best thing to do for me: If I don’t like where the topic is heading, or if I have nothing of value to add, I just “turn” the page.

ParticipantThanks Knobby. Yes Northern Cal and Southern Oregon is a hotbed for our big guys/gals.
@Robbin: I live in Mukilteo, so I am some 20-25 minutes away from the Mt Loop highway. If I run into anything interesting, I will let you know. The area I am currently interested in is a couple miles before Verlot (coming from Granite Falls way). Unfortunately, this forum has no messaging capability, so exchanging personal info is limited, at best. And as for using FaceBook: Rikki don’t play dat!
Someone mentioned Darrington, WA in this thread: That would be a super area to live, especially if you were lucky enough to be retiring. Not too great for commuting, however it would be well worth it IMHO

ParticipantNo, but I think there is probably quite a few hot spots on the Mountain Loop highway. I noticed a lot of areas, with lots of leaners, breaks, bows an X’s. I have heard some vocalizations and noticed a few spots that look good just recently. I have had most of my luck in the Wenatchee National Forest, but I am going to check out Mt Loop area as soon as the weather warms just a bit. Weather has been pretty crappy here the last few weeks, so there is going to be a lot of mud in there right now and I am not going in alone right now. I gots to get me a good winch for one, prior to going in by myself. I know it’s not recommended, but I get my best luck by far, when I am alone

ParticipantI have some advice for you Knobby: If you move anywhere near the Snohomish County area, let me know and I will hook-up with you. I have a new area along the Mountain Loop road that I am itching to check out as soon as possible

ParticipantWhen I had my big event(s) in 2007, Thom Powell helped me out by listening to me and explaining what had happened to me. Thom is super-cool in my book & very knowledgeable. Check out his book “The Locals”. Best BF book IMHO

ParticipantThanks m99 for posting the lyrics. I still often listen to the closing song in it’s entirety. I also agree that the former intro was/is by far the best. I remember early on, when Wes was tweaking it from one show to the next. It kept getting better and better with every new rev. IMHO, Wes ended up with perfection in that intro. I would say, don’t fix it if it ain’t broke. However, Wes is da man & I will go with whatever he deems is right for his/our show

ParticipantI like it because when you hear Pompeya 90 you know the show is closing, and a great song as well.

ParticipantThanks Jack. No problemo on the grammar, I knew what you were sayin’. I saw UFOs when I was 10 years old with my best childhood friend. We looked at each other and said: “space ships!” Since then, for most of my life I would sleep outside under the stars & scan the skies, looking for UFOs. I wrote a column in UFO Magazine for a few years before it went under. I was sitting outside on a river bottom in WA looking for UFOs at midnight, summer of 2005, when bigfoot came out of the woodwork, scared the crap out of me and made me forget about UFOs and start thinking about him/her. Since 05, I still glance around at the skies, but I have found you have a much, much better chance of finding strange things in your immediate surrounding environment. And you are indeed right: I have come to the conclusion that there really is very little we understand about our planet and the universe. That is what make life very exiting to me. wooohooo! I-like-it-a-lot

ParticipantWow! That looks like a pretty large object. Of course, when NASA tries to censor stuff like that, All I have to say is: What else is new? As the gov would have us believe: UFOs are not real. I have seen them at least 3 times in my life. One time was up really close, with 3, with what looked like, little kids in white suits, standing around it. Time was about 5 in the morning. This was on Snoqualmie pass, WA. My friend and guitar player and I were on our way home. He was driving the band truck and I was riding shotgun, after playing a gig at state line Idaho. He said “what was that?” I said ____ if I know!” We just kept going because we were low on gas, it was really cold out and we just wanted to get home to Seattle
