ParticipantGumshoguy …….. The podcast is about how we secretly marked rocks and placed them into an area we suspected the bigfoot juveniles were throwing rocks from, and indeed, the rocks we marked and placed there were thrown into our camp the next night. Rock stacks are a different matter.

ParticipantMichael Brookreson was not part of the group that was there. He had trouble getting there with his friend, and had aborted his trip there shortly before it imploded. ( I am friends with Michael too, I have been to his place in Missouri, and down to his ranch in the San Antonio footholls a couple times.

ParticipantThere was no money to run off with….The man who was trying to get this going, was making promises on the hopes of certain monies getting donated, We all jumped the gun behind a good idea, way too soon. There wasno way to recover, and nobody could hang around much longer waiting for donated funds that probably would never materialize.

ParticipantI was a part of the falcon project, indeed, it did fail because the funding we thought was soon to be part of the project, fell through. There were about 7 or 8 of us there ready to go. I was the only one who came with enough money to wait until funding kicked in. There were some who showed up with only the shirt on their back. No gear, no supplies. And had to be taken care of by those of us who showed up prepared. One guy left almost daily to go to a casino to make money at the BlackJack tables. Another guy was a 60 year old longBoarder, whose only job before was as a gold prospector. One guy was a newspaper deliverer….I felt like there were only 2 or 3 legitimate researchers who had experience actually doing research, The rest thought they would get a paycheck and be provided with everything they needed. That was indeed the goal for the future, but to start out, you had to be able to sustain yourself until things got going. So as soon as the funding hopes started imploding, and we couldn’t even get the Man organizing it to respond to our text messages…I stayed a couple weeks longer to take advantage of the Washington Locations, and the rest disbanded….so it failed on multiple levels. But turned into a month long research trip for me, and I have been going back there every August for a month or so ever since. I have done 3 shows with Wes.

ParticipantI keep a grizzly bear spray on my hip when out researching, I don’t use weapons other than that. The spray will put out a huge plume about 25 to 30 feet with about a 15 foot expanding mushroom at the end, I have seen plenty of bear and have had many bigfoot encounters. None have needed me to deploy the spray. But I did luckily have a can in my truck onetime while on a jobsite that had a large aggressive Rotty in a back yard of the house next to the one I was working on, The Rotty would bark and chew on the fence about 15 feet behind me really wanting a piece of my ass while I would just work and ignore him. Then one morning I pulled up on the job, and there was the Rotty, standing at the front corner of the house I was working on, just watching me pull in, ( he had escaped his fenced yard) I sat there thinking about the danger I may be in, and I grabbed my bear spray, I decided I would just get out and act like I wasn’t afraid and see if he would register that my demeaner would not be like a victim. as soon as I shut my truck door and stepped out enough for him to see me,he come running at me baring his teeth and growling, I promise you, I just barely got a small plume of spray out in front of him and when he hit the spray, he skidded to a stop and turned and ran back to the fence and was bouncing off the fence and even hit his own house trying to find a way back into the fenced yard, and he looked like he was trying to do this with his eyes closed,,,, he eventually got back in, and I never saw him again, later the owner came out and asked me if I sprayed his dog with pepper spray, and I confirmed it, and told him what had happened, He said there was bear spray all over his house and furniture where the dog was trying to get it off of him….SO I am confident that all you have to do, is get some in the air between you and a bigfoot, anything that needs oxygen to survive, is not going to understand NOT being able to breath, and it would most definitely panick anything who thinks it will walk right through that stuff….LOL So I am now even more confident it will be an asset if any trouble happens with a booger. Wear 2…one on each hip, for insurance. At the very least, you can spray yourself, and even if you get knocked unconscious, you won’t be tasty, and even carrying you would be pure misery for the bigfoot. ( I know this because I accidently sprayed a tiny amount into my gear bag one time….and nothing in that bag could be salvaged, just to open the bag made me cry big crocodile tears and gag…..lol)
