I usually carry a pistol but it varies in terms of which I choose. I’m mostly concerned about cougars and to a degree, wolves. I’ve figured after all these years of listening, reading and watching videos plus my own encounters, there really isn’t a good pistol unless you are an incredibly good shot with nerves of steel. These creatures are enormous and fast.

When I carry I do get a sense of comfort because at least I have something that COULD save me although very unlikely.

To answer your inquiry, it’s usually a 380, or a 357. Small, concealable and easy to carry on long walks or hikes. My husband insists on the best and most powerful rounds in all of our handguns. Still highly unlikely to stop a BF. If I didn’t carry, I wouldn’t go in he woods anymore and I love them.

Nope, he says he’s not taking a piss and to let you know he’s 50% American! And, he is.

You had to see the reaction from him to know if he’s serious. I know him well as he is one of my besties!

I do love Aussie humor tho! This tho isn’t the time!!

Seamus, as I get reminded regularly, what seems intuitive is often the exact opposite. Generally, we’re not as good as we think we are at intuiting. We know so little about higher functions in the brain. We still can’t figure out how humans can ride a bike yet we do. We haven’t a clue where consciousness comes from. If we can’t study these creatures, then why assume they’d need a larger brain to do the functions we see? Maybe their brain synapses are more dense or fire uniquely? Perhaps size doesn’t matter at all for this critter?
Love Meldrum cuz he just doesn’t seem to care about naysayers. He’s a scientist who has the kind of open mind many scientists lose.

I watched it. Not quite sure what to think? The bit about mad cow/chronic wasting disease and UFO’s had me scratching my head. I wondered if I missed something because I didn’t see a connection just conjecture. I’ve read most, if not all, of his book reports. I do think there’s some kind of connection with BF and space crafts. Perhaps it’s experimentation/research which I think an intelligent creature might do if their intellect allowed? We study all kind of small and microscopic creatures for a variety of reasons. Why wouldn’t visitors from outer space do the same?
It would suck though if it is happening and aliens are conducting nazi-like experiments on us and other earth life forms.
The cost of the show is $20. I think it was worth it because I appreciate his research and think we need more of it!

“That’s very simplistic Amy, that we should never question anything anyone says in the bigfoot community because we know the animals are real, and it is impossible for us to ever find anything that doesn’t add up in a story — Randy referencing the Alien autopsy two decades before the fact could be true. MK Davis has promoted tales of a bigfoot massacre at Bluff Creek in 1967 where Patterson and Gimlin were involved in killing Patty and a host of other bigfoots that day. Why do the details or the person telling the story matter?”

Yup, it was intended to be.

We all know they’re real animals so why do the details or the person telling the story matter?

There’s not one of us here who can determine, especially second/third hand, if the story teller is telling the truth. Frankly, that is an impossibility.

We all know here that there’s a coverup going on but none of us know why.

Why do you Gum, feel that religion should be immune to criticism? Is it so above everything thing else that it’s untouchable? When you silence critics or questioners you end up with a lot of evil. Just let me know if you want me to expand upon the “evil” brought about by the silencing religions of centuries past. Question EVERYTHING. Disagree until proper research or vetting occurs.

I said the Bible is a work of fiction, knobby said it wasn’t. So what? We don’t agree.

In short, it is a humble earthy mystery unless you’re one of the gobermint insiders who know exactly what these animals are (biologically).

It is fun attempting to unravel the mystery. Many of us love a mystery, and as civilizations, we’ve built entire cities/cultures focusing on those mysteries. The whole Bigfoot phenomenon is an industry within itself. Historically, those mysteries often get solved proving how ignorant our ancestors were about the world upon which they lived.

Who knows what the end of this mystery will prove?

Well, Seamus, my biggest impression is these critters are masters of the wild. I am amazed mostly by their said abilities. I want to be educated because the knowledge could save me or my family.

The spider crawl, speed at which they are purported to run, size, all are thought impossible by mainstream science. I agree they, like other animals, are masters of camouflage. Like other animals, they can be feet from you and hidden by the environment. I’m not really amazed by the camouflage. It’s not unusual. Neither is losing a track line when tracking. Soil isn’t uniform but I’ll admit that finding prints and losing them in fresh snow should be easier. I’m certain these critters can jump and use terrain to decrease their tracks. Numerous times I’ve heard critters moving within feet of me but I couldn’t see them. That’s not unusual in my opinion.

The portal stuff, since I’ve read a lot, is still quite small in terms of percentage. I find it fascinating so my bias creeps in there. I focus on what intrigues me.

Youre spot on tho. I certainly have unknown biases. But I try to be as open minded as I can regarding this subject. The portal stuff is really an attempt to remain open and accept what people from different backgrounds experience. I’ve read accounts where people see Sasquatch appear from a shimmer or swirling fog. Indian tails speak of Sasquatch and portals/other dimensions. A guy on a hike,26 miles in, walked into what he thought could only be a portal, had a Sasquatch say “gotcha”, and promptly he turned around and ran back the 26 miles and has never hiked again. There’s not a huge number of these. For the first time, on Wes’ blog, I heard that someone saw a nictating membrane on a Sasquatch. The odd ball stuff I try not to throw out as whackadoddle.

Yes, knobby, I know about the ideas physics has regarding orbs. They’ve been looking at the phenomenon for quite some time. It is possible there’s an earthy explanation but people see orbs in the desert too. No wetlands there and at best, an old river/stream bed, or aquifer. People see orbs in their houses. Again, it’s witnessed and in the presence of Sasquatch although it could coincidence. It could be gas, I’ll grant that…. But the probing foot I saw wasn’t gas. It literally probed like an amoeba.

Infrasound is known. Science understands it and governments try to weaponize it. Wouldn’t at all be surprised by the effects of it when used by someone/something with an in-depth understanding of it.

Mind-speak being part of infrasound, well that i have not heard or read. I’m not a person who believes in freewill and I know words and thoughts appear without conscious thought. I don’t know enough about what infrasound can do but I am certain very credible people have heard something communicating to them in their mind. Is it infrasound? Could be?

What I don’t entertain is the Bible connection because that book is fiction. A story with a lot of good advice for sure. It’s a hard stop there for me. Not trying to pick a fight but simply find it useless for this topic.

Nice Knobby! You’ve been studying up on this over the last couple of years. You’re info is good.

At one point I thought Australopithecus was the best guess. That indeed still could be it.

The orbs/lights tho have been seen many times by credible people although there wasn’t a mention of Sasquatch. Those lights could be independent but somehow related? It could be coincidence? I once saw a parking garage camera videowhere an orb literally probed something with a “foot” very similar to an amoeba. It looked like a plasma ball. Nonetheless, your point is taken.

At this point, I am certain Sasquatch is from this planet just like us. They do seem to have other abilities such as mind speak. How, dunno but credible people have had it happen to them.

    Fun topic!
