Sasquatch Ontario has recordings of them laughing. Whether the recordings are authentic or not is not something I’m qualified to vet.

No one would ever accept my accounts.

Chris, when I was four-five years old, one of these things was in my window. We lived on the Central Coast of California. At the time, the area behind our house was just apple and walnut orchards. This was around 1972-73. Pozo, ten miles away as the crow flies, had an encounter reported at the same time, as I later saw in a book.

When I was able to get to a library on my own, the first place I rushed to was the “0-0” section, which was aliens and cryptozoology. I then lived in Clovis, California, and my family’s pastime was to camp in the Sequoias to the east of the unbearably-hot San Joaquin Valley.

My first encounter was around Dinkey Creek. He/it was a juvenile hopping down the creek, which I heard as I had outrun my family on a hike and was running up the trail ahead of them. He looked at me – I looked at him (he was my size)- and we, each, tore our asses back the other way.

Somehow, I have an inexplicable predilection for encountering them. I can’t explain it, but I accept it. That being said, I’ve been coming to learn that that relationship is for me to understand, and not for the public. Somehow I just keep running into them, and that makes a person incredulous in the mindset of the Bigfoot community. It undermines one’s integrity/believability in the community to have multiple experiences. Because I believe that (at least one strain of) Sasquatch are paranormally and metaphysically-advanced beings, I’m able to accept that the odds aren’t so bad that I would keep having experiences with them apart from random interaction.

I want to share some songs with you all. The first one you will definitely know. I’m gonna take a break until I get my head back on straight and I’ll be back. Obviously my world views don’t necessarily jive with the sentiment on the site, as I entertain paranormal options when it comes to Sasquatch. That being said, all of you and people like me (your “flute-players”) do share one thing in common that the rest of the world doesn’t: we accept the reality of other beings that inhabit this planet. Believe you me, I don’t think all of these creatures/beings are benevolent. And some of them damn-well need to be taken out for what they do to people and pets, livestock. But I don’t think that we’re dealing with one, or even two, entities of equal temperament, much less intelligence, or spiritual advancement. The world is a wide place. Vic over at Dogman Encounters, Wes here, and others concur that attention needs be paid to this subject. And that’s something very significant.

Let’s not forget the bonds we DO share.

Shannon, my response was not to your video. Pink Floyd is my all-time favorite band.

I posted to call attention to the fact that none of us knows everything.

Thanks Cyndie, I actually did make corned-beef and cabbage in my crock-pot. Washed it down pretty good, too, but I headed out to the mountains to rejuvenate from the concrete jungle. Hope you had a great St. Patty’s Day yourself.

    …Be Open-Minded.

…be willing to change your perspective.

…don’t forget what you think you know, but incorporate all new information objectively into your understanding.

…be willing to adapt your perception. Be willing to change your mind.

Observe what you can from the resources available. Adapt.

Just for kicks and giggles. Not Sasquatch-related.

Whether they’ve been here all along or have dropped off by “others” in an experiment it doesn’t, ultimately, matter. (I’m an Oxford Comma guy…)

They are here, my friends. And many versions have been around for a long, long time. Edgar Cayce spoke of Atlanteans experimenting on human/animal hybrids in his sleeping visions. IF he was correct, then there is ample reason to suspect that the progeny of these experiments could pervade the obscured wilds of our supposedly enlightened age.

Nothing is impossible, but lack of vision can, and does, obscure truth.

I’m smiling. Widely. Thank you Shannon. In honor of the late David Bowie I’d like to share a song. I’m going to say that this is a song in defense of the “militant” flute-players – in that we really don’t know how many types of beings/individuals we may encounter out there. I’m a flute player in that I entertain possibilities. Some of these possibilities present a consciously “friendly” entity. They do exist (as I am testament to, being “allowed” to wander home at four-in-the-morning to be followed by a “SLAM!!!” on our house in the El Dorado wilderness…).

I also recognize the absolutely horrific, monstrous side to the nefarious beings that should see the working side of a Smith Armory XDM.

I’ve really enjoyed this forum. It’s something one doesn’t find very often. Wes has really created something special. I’ve found myself, as of late (and once or twice in the beginning) coming on only late at night on days when I’ve been over-doing it. Thank you all. I never would have expected this kind of response. I’m no victim. I’ve been making my choices. I’m grateful for your kind thoughts.
