There is an early episode (the exact one escapes me at the moment) where Will states, “I have independent confirmation from my sources as to what you (Wes) and Woody saw”, a few episodes after Wes and Woody’s encounter episode (#2). I’ll try and find it and add it to this later.
So, if he’s able to determine a hoax or not from the get-go, believes Wes & Woody’s story, then gets confirmation himself elsewhere and states this… How are you going to turn around and abandon them at the first sign of issues?
That being said, where did Episodes 1-5 go (#2 being the big encounter), and why? I still have them on MP3 and backed them all up before they disappeared from the Podcasts.
Regarding the show, I liked it better with multiple hosts. Wes/Woody/Will were a good team to listen to, even if I had to hear “I was within 15 feet of two of them” and “Rene Dehinden is Jesus” 10x each podcast. Nothing against Wes, he produces a good show still, but those multiple points of view added to the show and the older shows sounded more like a group of friends you could relate to, rather than 1 guy broadcasting from a remote location.
In the end, these things are out there (based on my own experiences) whether I hear Will or Wes or Santa Claus relating their encounters to me. I have to believe a lot of the guests are genuine. That’s enough for me to listen with an OPEN MIND.
