ParticipantLights every where for starters. Don’t give them anywhere shadowy to hide, they will think twice or more about being exposed by the lights.
The following aren’t so much deterrents as what i think would be goo dsafety tips
Get motorised security shutters fitted onto your windows. They can be activated from inside and will prevent any peeking or tapping.
If you can’t get shutters, keep your blinds closed at night
Heavy door with multiple deadlocks. Most doors will do fudge all to keep people out let alone a squatch. I once had a random guy kick in the front door to my house in an attempted burglary while i was at home one morning. The door to my house is fairly solid and has a double cylinder lock but he managed to get in.
If you can’t light up your entire property make sure the front of the house is well lit and that you have parked your car within the field of light. Try and park the car as close to your house as you can. Should you need to escape hopefully your front yard will be a bit of a safe zone.
If you have a squatch on your property even if it has shown no sign of aggression, get an escape plan ready. Do drills during the day and make sure your entire family is aware of what needs to happen if you need to take flight in the middle of the night.
Clear trees and bushes near your property, try to give them less places to hide. Also, if you have a long driveway or private road you need to traverse to get to the main road do your best to make sure it can’t be blocked by debris.Clear trees if you can set up and electric fence whatever it takes. Last thing you want to is to be hauling butt trying to get away only to find the squatches have dragged a tree across the road.

ParticipantThe clincher for me has been the sheer amount of eyewitness testimony which describes consistent physical attributes and behaviour. Compare the reports of bigfoot to say reports of the loch ness monster for example and it’s apples and oranges in terms of consistency.
People have described Nessie as looking like all sort of things from having a head like a horse to looking like a snail without a shell. The current portrayal of it as a plesiosaur type creature with a swan like neck is because of the surgeons photograph which has seen been proven a hoax. There are more than a few reports of Nessie being seen on land. That couple with most physical descriptions indicate an animal that needs to breathe air. Nessie should be being seen all the time either because it needs to breach the surface to breath or some other reason. It doesn’t. It just doesn’t behave like you would expect an animal of that size and lifestyle should.
On the other hand, Bigfoot has been described consistently throughout the centuries. It’s described behaviour matches that of other primates and generally consistent throughout reports. People are clearly seeing something and barring reports of cloaking and telepathy it behaves like a real animal.
The other best evidence for the existence of sasquatch is the fact that we have discovered another large primate only recently. The Bili Ape was considered a rumour for 100 years before being discovered in 2006 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bili_ape). It’s quite large and has been described as being half gorilla and half chimp. It’s been able to elude the scientific community for decades. It lends a whole lot of credibility to the idea that large unknown primates still exist.
The other best evidence is the amount of sightings of similar creatures around the world and stories of similar creatures in the stories of native peoples who had never met. There sightings of bigfoot like creatures in Australia, indonesia, india, tibet, russia/siberia and europe and finally america. When you look at the pattern in relation to the continents you can almost see a pattern of migration. Considering America has been connected to russia by the bering land bridge which allowed for the migration of people, surely the same thing could have happened to the common ancestor of sasquatch and other unknown hominids

ParticipantSteven J, it’s entirely possible it’s both douchebag humans and a douchebag sasquatch. Maybe there is a squatch who has started a dog fighting ring?

Participant@kenneth m, Dogs being stolen for fights is a bit of a problem in Australia at the moment. I live in a suburb just outside Melbourne’s city centre and in my suburb and the surrounding ones, dogs were being napped left, right and centre. The culprits would scout streets at night and use spray paint to mark an x on a back fence, slab of footpath or even electricity poles outside a house with a dog. They would then come around again a few nights later and take the dog. It’s pretty creepy. Humans suck.

ParticipantThe dogs could also be being taken for dog fighting. Smaller dogs in particular are used as bait.

Participant@bill b There is a dogmatic agenda in some elements of the U.S Government to dissolve the separation of church and state. If revealing the existence of Sasquatch provided 100% undeniable proof that evolution and by extension mainstream science was a bunk, we would already know about Sasquatch. Those dogmatic elements in government who knew about Sasquatch would have seen to it.
But I do agree with you about everything else. It doesn’t make sense for government agents to reveal themselves like that. I mean the majority of the public don’t give a rats about sasquatch, so why try denying the existence of something that most of the general population don’t believe is real? Also Tracy G only had his word, which while good enough for us, isn’t good enough to reveal the existence of sasquatch to general population. Therefore he was no threat to the cover up, so why try and ruin his life?

ParticipantThey probably dust bathe, which is a pretty common way of animals to rid themselves of parasites. They also might wallow in mud as a preventative against insect bites and parasites.

ParticipantWhere are those two old guys from the muppets when you need them?

ParticipantThis definitely has a ‘found footage’ movie feel to it. Also it looked like the ‘sasquatch’ was walking on it’s heels as if it was wearing shoes or boots

ParticipantI was amazed that they managed to get footage of the creature. I thought maybe it was special effects but the trackers seemed to be prettty damn serious about the whole thing.

ParticipantChimps and gorilla subspecies all show variation in hair colour and hair type. It stands to reason that Bigfoot is the same. There are 3 different subspecies of Gorilla and 4 (i think) subspecies of Chimp. It’s probably the same for squatch breeding populations that are separated but not long enough to be genetically dissimilar, that are inhabiting different environments. It would go a long way to explain the differences in hair colour/type, behaviour, diet and body type. It would also explain how a large number of these animals could exist, particularly if they are exploiting different resources.
In regards to clumps of hair being found, perhaps it wasn’t so much the Squatch taking care of itself but more that it was under some type of stress. Both humans and chimps among other animals can suffer from trichotillomania, which is obsessive pulling out of hair. It generally occurs after some type of trauma, Perhaps the squatch lost it’s troop

ParticipantTotally, Gumshoguy. No one is perfect.I should have clarified further by saying that I think he is spot on in most of his videos. There has just been a few breakdowns that have been questionable. Sometime I think he lets his passion get in the way of being objective. However, I do value his contribution to the study of bigfoot and appreciate the time and effort he takes to breaking down the videos.

ParticipantAlso whilst I like Thinkthunker, he has been dead wrong a couple of times, namely the ‘Great North’ footage and the video that claimed to show 4 bigfoot stalking bison in Yellowstone. That one turned out to be people walking on a well used trail that I believe was near the Old Faithful visitor centre
However in this vid, i think he might be on the money
