I think we haven’t discovered if they are sentient beings and if so to what level of the 5 aggregates . Perhaps this is why the gov keeps us ” sheltered” from the full extent of knowledge they know about the sasquatch . Paradigm shifts and such . Just throwing that out there .
I wonder if that logic applies to all the different types or the more… Primitive ones? ( bear & Coonbo logic)
Perhaps they can detect sweat or other fear responses in other creatures , reports describe the lip curl and felt intimidated by it? And or a physical display? Body language says more than words can at times . Ty for posing the question .
Horses do this as well. To scent if mares are in season. I wonder if they are (squatches) are monogamous?

I’m in agreement with flag staffer. Everyone wants to ” see the magic show” then when shit gets real , and u have ask for help from sources u discounted, disrespected, and told were crazy . Then to your suprise those backward weirdos knew a thing or 2 that actually helped u out. If I were the dineh friend I’d be mad. Maybe his help put him and his at great personal risk. Then to open the lid on pandoras’ box AGAIN???? WTF!! Sorry but…. Damn! Curiosity killed the cat! Satisfaction won’t always bring him back!
