What I mean by ringed is like something wrapped it’s hands around the tree and with a be try tight grip started working it’s wrist back and forth until the bark separated from the tree. It’s just really weird because there is no scratch marks of any kind. It’s like some one ringed the bark off. You’d think an animal would leave some kind of claw mark.

I have a question. My brother lives in the woods in deep Graham WA. We recently found a group of trees with the bark stripped about 5 feet down. The trees are about 5-6 inches wide.
