I’ve heard of sasquatch leaving a dead snake on the sidewalk at a home down south (habituation site). I’ve heard of sasquatch sharing fish and not taking the whole catch from fishermen. At baiting stations sasquatch will leave a marble.or special rock or other item when taking food. It’s not too unusual to see them leave an “appetizer” (kidding).
So not hard to believe they would leave a deer leg.
On the other hand, they will also take your deer if you shoot and you follow the blood trail and can’t find your game (hunters also lose their game because the deer make it, not a clean shot etc). They will clean out trash cans and gardens, fruit trees, etc., but not what you’re asking.
And yeah, what we need are sword wielding screwball in the woods or maybe he was just trying to have some fun, “be careful with that thing”.
    My two cents.

What a nice group of people, and I mean that sincerely. I would agree our community, and namely those aforementioned who are faithful tenured members are on it and with it and more than able to express themselves well and in a more than well educated fashion.

To answer why no change, we note as also mentioned in this thread, Wes’s woo take has changed from what he at first thought was an animal only, and I concur to the spiritual side of this now whereas in the beginning I thought sasquatch was some kind of unknown primate. Monkey tracks dont appear from nowhere in snowfields and disappear “midstream”, etc.
I wonder if dogman is a “change” in that it is more or less “an addition” but more likely they’ve been around forever the same as with sasquatch reports.

Thanks, Steve E. I think we the people should be suing them the negligent states. This is us voting for the President of the United States. I can think of any number of lesser activities where ID may not be required but “come on, really?” Dumbing down the system to cheat. Traitorous.

    Glad you found the episode!
Speaking of strange things running around in the woods, just outside of town this past Sunday night, my brother was driving around 11:30 pm and there was a woman who looked like me waving her hands frantically without saying anything, no car, nobody around her….he drove past and went back and he drove back and forth a few times before calling 911 because she wasn’t saying anything. He said right before he saw her he had a mindspeak episode. He said he heard in his thoughtlife, Well, you’re doing pretty good right now, your truck is running, your job is working out, your kids are okay and you’re healthy and not drinking, we may just have to send you a visitor. He said it was weird she was not talking and he thought it looked like me (I’m his only sister. Our little town is pretty haunted.
Sometimes real life is freakier than sci-fi.

Yes, Pam, believe it or not there were five black crow feathers lined up in my yard as told to me by my niece. She cane bringing them in the house and I knew something was up but I didn’t see them lined up, she did. I want to say it was the same year I heard an Ohio howl out my west living room window. Our home backed up to a ranch and then the cemetery (very haunted) and then nothing for miles but the Flint Hills which are bordered by trees and creeks, lots of deer. Lots of crops in the area as well.
I had the erie-est feeling when she brought those in like we had something we weren’t suppose to have (it was kind of a breathless feeling when your spiritual environment is disturbed if that makes sense).
At the time I googled it and it seems like it’s suppose to mean something but I can’t remember, and it seems like it meant something in the native American culture.

Boy, I don’t know. I am anxious to hear what others in this forum have to say about that. 🙂 I think they are tied to the end of the world.

Hey, Knobby. 🙂 Yeah, I saw that the other day you can hear a woman keep saying, “Run!” The gov report says it happens all the time, and I took that the same way most of us do when we hear them say “a very large bear.”
My dad had a strong concern about Yellowstone. He was an outdoorsman, and he was the main reason I became interested in Sasquatch. Dad watched the PG film and said, “I DON’T know!”. When large fierce brown eyes stare a hole in you and those belong to the biggest skeptic, and he says that, you think they are probably real. He must have seen something all those years in the woods, and it might have been the Montana trip. He and his brother smelled something and went down the gradual slope and grassy mountainside with the gun, a rifle, or a shotgun. They disappeared out of sight, and then we saw them come running back up the hill. I don’t think they would have run from a bear, and I seem to remember dad being shaken up and saying I don’t know what that thing was (after he caught his breath, a little sweatty and nervous and we left the area in the old 50s model car. He said that to mom, and he was shaking his head. I was only ten and was not supposed to hear
    him say that.
Anyway, dad was always thinking in the back of his mind about Yellowstone and how catastrophic it would be to have a large eruption. He had a sixth sense about things and a strong desire to protect his family. He knew that would be unavoidable. I knew he was very concerned about it. One look on his face would have said it all. Maybe that js part of the way the earth catches on fire. Even so, Lord Jesus, come.

Love the copper kettle sounds, so zen……as I watch the aspens in my friend’s yard spin in the breeze.
I’m in sasquatch country, park county colo, praying God brings me back here. But at least I have my lovely SC friends.

NICE. I am missing my downtime to hang out and visit with my same interest sasquatch peeps. I’m managing a swimmingpool in my little town. 🙃 I bet it was a blast.
