After looking the fake newscast video up again on youtube, I saw where you had left a comment, so obviously that answers my question about whether you had seen it or not. Also, I misspelled the title… it should be Loup Garou.

    Tracy’s encounter was near Tishomingo,MS.

Danny, have you happened upon the articles online regarding the low budget movie that was made about Taylor, MS? It was called Night of the loop garou, or something similar to that. There was even a video clip of a fake newscast from the movie online. Anyway, it was about a werewolf/dogman type creature.

I wonder if that isn’t maybe how the stories about dogmen in Taylor got started? From people seeing the fake newscast, etc…

Anyway, just wondered if you were familiar with the movie.

I was listening to an episode of “Weird Darkness” podcast about this subject, and the host didn’t give any specifics, but did mention that there is a similar property in Connecticut.

If you mean has anyone seen the movie, I have. In my opinion, it was one of the worst made, poorly acted and ridiculous special effects films I have ever seen. It made The Legend of Boggy Creek look like a Steven Spielberg blockbuster!

The episode where I tell of my encounters is the best one! LOL Just kidding, as there are much better ones.

Lee F. The one you’re referring to is episode 75.

That does make it a bit more puzzling, since it works for some and not for others. I’m afraid I don’t have any other ideas at the moment.

At the risk of stating the obvious, but have you made sure it’s not being sent to your spam folder by chance? I got an email notice from this thread, so the site’s email server must be working ok.

I watched it this past Saturday night, and to be honest, I have to say that I wasn’t impressed.

My closest and clearest sighting was in the middle of the day. The other time when we saw the three on the field was at night. I was in those woods more during the day than I was at night, so I don’t know how active they normally were during the night time, but I do know they were pretty active during the daylight hours.

    1. Possibly. This particular area has had a number of sightings.
    2. Approximately 20 miles.
    3. National Forest.
    4. No. After finding out that these creatures actually do exist, I will NOT go into the woods alone, and even when going with someone else I am always armed.
    5. Yes, my planned visit/s will be because of Sasquatch being reported there.
    6. I have not been to this area yet, but I am hoping for my son and I to do some investigating of that area before long.

I know people would be surprised if SC members talked about how close these creatures are to communities.

As mentioned in my encounter that was on here recently, the area where it happened was in a fairly populated area, well within the city limits of town. It wasn’t some big metropolis, but it was certainly not a place where the average person would expect to encounter a Sasquatch.
