I think the the lions share of root motives point to issues of control and money. Control of natural resources is ancient power play 101 historically speaking, and certainly important to the Feds; home base for Sasquatch.
The fed’s are busy secretly building underground “bunkers,” etc., in many of our nations parks, and really don’t need the headache of having to take time away from their dark agenda to “manage” the public at large about Bigfoot and the resulting Pandora’s box of other monsters that also exist.
They operate on the same premise of many good parents regarding their children- “keep ’em busy, keep ’em tired.” The Feds like the status quo just Fine. Their plan is working. All they have to do, regardless of what”s come to the fore regarding Sasquatch, is to deny,deny, deny. Stay on point, no matter what. They know brilliantly how to launch and dutifully maintain misinformation campaigns. Just check out today’s political landscape, right? The average joe is working his butt off barely making ends meet along with barely meeting family responsibilities, that he/she doesn’t have time to investigate much further than what crap FOX “News” and TMZ is bleating about. They’ve got to be heavily engaged in studying Sasquatch most importantly infrasound–and perhaps building a better beast. Perhaps they know everything there is to know and are managing Sasquatch. Sound crazy? Maybe. Maybe not. Truth is always stranger than fiction.
