We’re talking about an incident that occurred 67 years ago in the former Soviet Union: ……The Soviet Government habitually covered up or suppressed ANYTHING that detracted from their self-crafted image of an all-powerful state.
…….Add to this the fact that virtually all of the people involved in the original investigation are now dead, …..and you are left with a pointless discussion. (….Except for the fact that it IS a really great “Scary Story”!)
There is no way to come to any new conclusions about this one!

As you can tell by my VERY infrequent posting, I am not part of any sort of “organized” effort!
Wes has stated that it is his policy that SC is a “safe” place where people can tell their story without fear of ridicule: ….. I am simply making the very obvious observation that the contents of the “Comments Section” frequently undermine that goal.
The next time some of you are complaining about Wes posting a “rerun”, or the general quality of the content they “are paying good money” for; …..Just ask yourself this:
“Would I come forward with an unusual story after seeing the typical remarks in “The Shark Tank” (….the Comments section.)????”
Wes is working hard to attract interesting content, and many of you are working overtime to drive it away.

Yes, I have listened to ALL the shows: ……And to be completely frank, I find Mr. Jevning’s mythical “Mr. Black” to be less than believable.
I have had professional relationships with several people employed by various agencies, and to a man (or woman) they took security very seriously. Seen in that light, “Mr. Black’s” behavior doesn’t make logical sense.
The only possible motive for an Agency Employee to start leaking information to a known author and Podcast co-host would be a severe attack of Guilt and Conscience concerning the lies that were/are being told to the American Public. If this was what motivated “Mr. Black”, then why didn’t he go “Full Snowden” on his bosses and release info that named people, places, dates, and where the bodies are buried???
But this isn’t what we got! ……We heard hints, innuendo, and trivial confirmations regarding “The Four Types” and things like that. Why would an Agency Employee jeopardize his career to only leak little bits and pieces?? …….HE WOULDN”T!!! Being “Just a little bit Traitorous” is exactly like being “Just a little bit Pregnant”!
From my chair, the whole “Mr. Black” thing sounds like a Disinformation Campaign that had Mr. Jevning completely suckered in!

OK……… One last comment before I go back to “Reader Only Mode”:
……..If W.J. was REALLY getting stuff from “insiders”, and he gave them up publicly by writing the above quote, …..He would have been whacked already! (….Just ask Julian Assange of “WikiLeaks” what happens when you publicly embarrass one or more of the “Alphabet Agencies”!!)
I’d like to make a couple of observations, if I may………….
1) The “BF Community” is overpopulated with big egos, and it is characterized by self-endorsement and venomous criticism of other community members: …..So we should not be surprised at the “Trash Talking” and duplicity.
2) I did not subscribe just to hear Wes and Woody’s encounter told over and over again! ……..I subscribe because I am interested in what the guests have to say.
Personally, it doesn’t really matter to me if Wes and Woody had an encounter or not! Wes has become a skilled interviewer, and it is the show’s content that justifies its existence, not Wes and Woody’s personal experiences.
I generally am only a “Reader” here, ….but I feel that a comment is necessary.
The O.P. asked a reasonable question, and it has been well and properly discussed.
Any further discussion of old grievances is about as appealing as exhuming a corpse!

The vast majority of Modern Mans ancestors practiced bi-pedalism at least part of the time: …Something that is true of most modern primates.
….And I cannot discern what “cars, clocks, computers, and rockets to the moon” have to do with this discussion.

It would be remarkable in the extreme for one species to evolve such a characteristic independent of all closely related species.
(……And species like the Octopus that use adaptive camouflage do not accomplish the deed through the selective bending of light, …so I’m not sure why those YouTube videos are relevant here.)
If one is going to investigate a phenomenon scientifically, then one must adhere to the standard criteria for such an investigation.
…..And one of those criteria is: “Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Proofs!”
If someone is going to take an already “Extraordinary” study, (Like BF) and then add the Paranormal to their hypothesis, …..They had better have some pretty remarkable (and verifiable) data to bring to the table!
I have been only a “Reader” on the Forum for a while now, and I have followed this thread with interest.
…..But at this point I have to say that Chris422 pretty well summed it up: …This is all supposition at best, and wishful thinking at worst.
There are no physical specimens (publically acknowledged anyway); ….And the majority of the people interested in this phenomenon are like me: …Never seen one, but 95% convinced that SOMETHING exists due to the circumstantial evidence presented.
So isn’t discussing their internal anatomy, morality, and social habits a case of “Getting the Cart before the Horse”??
George: …I am truly impressed! everything from Evolution to The Big Bang Theory dismissed with a handful of anecdotal clichés; ….all of which have been previously examined and dismissed by serious, unbiased researchers.
DO NOT take my word for it!! Prove it to yourself! ….Do an honest google search on any of the “proofs” you sited, and you will find your answers!
….That is, of course, assuming that you are really searching for the Truth, and not support for a preconceived viewpoint.
