ParticipantGum, im not trying to goad you either. But it seems there are some egos here that don’t like it when you disagree with them. Im trying to figure these things out and we ALL are at the same level when it comes to what we know about them. However, that requires using eyewitness accounts which unfortunately aren’t very reliable.

ParticipantGum, Knobby, im trying to profile the M.O. of these things based on how illusive they are. I just can’t fathom that with their track record of staying hidden, which eludes to a tremendous tactical thought process the would choose to hold up in caves or mines with only one way out? Or subject themselves to a situation where they could get caught or trapped etc. Also the veracity of reports must be questioned always. I try to weed out reports based on these creatures doing something to compromise their positions or their very lives in some cases. We really can only take reports at face value.

Participant……and that’s supposed to be a truthful encounter? Seriously? The community is accepting that story with no evidence whatsoever?

ParticipantIn addition, Gum, i doubt a creature that has survived the ice age, survived here before the white man,and since the white man came, would drink antifreeze or be fastidious about what it consumes or where it sleeps for that matter. I doubt highly they would choose to sleep in a manmade object than a natural setting. Sounds like something M.M. would say. Like a Sasquatch would break into an old junk car (must be a 72’plymouth fury) or sleep under someones porch rather than make their own spot. Will never buy that. I have rarely heard of a Sasquatch sleeping in a cave or mine etc. You can come back with cases that eyewitnesses claim such things but the info would be hearsay.

ParticipantI forgot to add the long term effects of high fructose corn syrup and sugar in general. Sugar destroys the immune system. It’s what led to the demise of the local native populations. It wasn’t just the new diseases that the white man brought with him to the new world, it was also the introduction of sugar in the form of Molasses that destroyed the immune systems of the populations. Even today, cancer thrives on sugar in your body. Oh and i forgot the life long effects of fluoride and chlorine in your water.

ParticipantMany factors should be taken into consideration and gum has brought up some good points. However, they don’t consume trans fats, oils, have the stresses we do, abuse tobacco, alcohol or caffeine etc. They don’t abuse themselves as we humans do. Everything they eat i believe is carefully collected or harvested and consumed. I’ll also bet that they sleep like babies! I’m sticking with over 80 easily. But unless Gum has one in his garage……..

ParticipantI believe it’s more like human life spans. You wouldn’t have the number of sightings we have now if they’re life span was 40 years. They would be extinct. Based on they’re physical and biological makeup, that is eyewitness accounts of absolutely amazing feats of strength and stamina, and the evidence of diet, i believe the live as long as humans or longer. Harsh climates don’t factor into it at all since they are designed to live where they do. Therefore, they posess extra thick bones and cartilage, special enzymes in they’re stomachs and are indifferent to hot and cold since they are born and weaned in the wild.

ParticipantThat’s why you have to have 2 cameras. A secondary camera to cover the primary and if budget allows, a third.

ParticipantSet up a cheap camping tent with a zipper and rainfly. Then put one of your toolbox ideas inside with some other “toys” that they can play with and go thru. This happened to me and i had expensive things in that tent that did not go missing. It didn’t dawn on my thick skull till a year later that only a creature with an a posable thumb can work a zipper!!
