ParticipantI said the exact thing about missing Mike Wooley last night.

ParticipantAnyone know the episode numbers of both of the featured encounters?
I remember the English woman, but don’t remember the episode number.
The gentleman I don’t seem to remember at all.

ParticipantI seem to remember Wes asking the members for suggested questions to ask Mr Paulides when he came on the show. But, that episode never materialized.

ParticipantI rented the documentary on Amazon. It was boring.
They charter a boat to go to Port Chatham and end up sleeping on the boat. They took 2 millennials with them with no real field experience, or even apparent interest in Bigfoot. They put up a couple of camera traps (one of which they forgot to turn on), walked around smoking cigarettes, and looked into a few empty buildings. Total waste of time.

ParticipantFrom what I understand, Joe Rogan was completely turned against the belief in cryptids after making his Joe Rogan Questions Everything show for the Syfy channel.
He says that he went into it believing in the possibility of cryptid existence, but was quickly disabused of the notion.
However, Rogan is a friend and huge admirer of Les Stroud. On one of his recent shows, he went of on a bit about how Stroud was the real deal, then talked about how much he admired him. He said that Stroud is completely consumed by the search for Bigfoot and that is pretty much all he does nowadays. So, hopefully we will get at least one more season of Survivorman Bigfoot soon.

ParticipantFrom the article: “It was a big one,” James De La Mora said. “Like a person. It was big.”
How tall is an adult chimpanzee? 3 & 1/2 feet or so? These people got a good look at it and say that it is human sized.
I often wondered, if someone was actually able to kill one these creatures, would the authorities just say “Sorry. You just killed someone’s escaped pet monkey. Nothing to see here.” Easy enough to trot out a monkey body and say that you only imagined that it was 8 feet tall.

ParticipantLol.
The Catholic Church has been corrupted from within. I would think that they have more to worry about than some guy’s words on a Bigfoot show. Just another effort to silence someone whose beliefs do not conform with your own and shut down an opposing narrative. I have never seen or heard of a topic that actually caused me harm if it was discussed. There are people out there who find our interest and belief in cryptids to be nonsensical, and would love to shut down any discussion on it.
At the end of the day, this is Wes’s show to do with as he will. I would be inclined to believe that, since he is having that pastor back on the show, Wes is giving a pretty definitive answer to how he feels about demands on how he runs his show.
Bravo, Wes. While I didn’t agree with everything that the pastor said, I applaud you for your response to critics and would-be censors.

ParticipantAlthough I signed up as a member for Sasquatch related content, I enjoy the little side ventures into strange lights, Dogman, and the Rake creature. As long as it has an ‘outdoors’ feel to it…I consider it a related subject.
Wes, you instincts on what your fans find interesting has been right on the money so far. Trust and follow those instincts and your fan base will remain loyal. I hope that you continue to why away from the ‘re-telling stories’ format. That ranks right up there with people larping with cryptid stories as far as boring content goes.
I would like to hear follow up episodes with people who might still be experiencing activity.
Keep up the good work, Wes. You are literally the ONLY podcaster putting out consistent, enjoyable content. My only gripe would be..restock the store with men’s large and women’s small shirts… and add a good quality Sasquatch Chronicles mesh baseball cap. It is too damn hot in the South to wear beanies. Lol.

ParticipantCooper knew that the government was going to orchestrate his death somehow, which is why his radio program The Hour Of The Time became so rabidly anti-government. However, if a tenth of what Cooper claimed is true, can anyone blame him for hating the powers that be?

Participant@Pam
If you are not familiar with William Cooper and his book Behold a Pale Horse, then you should check him out.
Cooper is considered by many to be the father of conspiracy theorists, and he correctly predicted that the government would have him killed for the information that he spread.
Cooper was killed by police due to charges stemming from ‘tax evasion’ in 2001. Died in a gunfight in his own front yard.

ParticipantLike anything else on Reddit (or the internet for that matter) the humor on there runs the gamut from sophomoric to hilarious. The main guys on r/Sasquatchattacks are role-playing, so if you approach it as being satire on the Bigfoot community you can get a couple of chuckles. About 10 or 20 minutes every few months is enough for me.

ParticipantLol.
Budrock still going on his tirades over there? If you treat r/SasquatchAttacks as humor and don’t take it seriously… you will have a good time. A lot of the posters there are playing a role for humor’s sake.
