Dave, maybe you should send that article to Josh Gates. I think his show Destination Truth is still on. I would love to see him go down to that area and interview people and see what they have to say about this old story. And of course have the required nighttime investigation. I think he’d have a lot of fun with it. He never takes himself too seriously but he always puts on a great show.
I think we all have heard these Dogman stories from Coonbo before. However, he is such a wonderful storyteller I really enjoy listening to him even though I know how it’s going to turn out.
After seeing this and how open they are about it I bet it is an escaped pet. Maybe from Michael Jackson’s old mansion. LOL
My ex grew up in Los Angeles and lived in a foster home with a wealthy family who owned a monkey. He said it was mean and he hated it. I don’t think it was a chimp but one of those monkeys that looks like it is wearing a hat. Too lazy to Google the name.
Thanks for finding this. I took a practice screen shot today. That area the Jedidiah Smith Park is absolutely stunning and magical. I was there is 2013 and hope to get back again soon. If anyone ever has the chance to visit it should not be missed. It is like a fairy tale forest.

Gum I didn’t find any branch twists. It was just my own observation from twisting them myself to break them off since my gardening tool was pretty dull and wouldn’t cut through.
I watched it earlier tonight. The octopus is such a natural at camouflage. With all the talk of sasquatch cloaking and paranormal stuff we have to remember there are animals that “cloak” naturally. I wonder if sasquatch has similar abilities.

Thanks so much for this story. I bet there are many people who have stories to share if prompted. Even my Dad who is no believer in Sasquatch had a story of a friend in Oregon who saw one in his yard. Dad still didnt believe it but is a firm believer in Ufos and aliens. To each his own I guess.

Anyway I am glad you brought it up. I think it may be the real deal as well, especially since the camera swung away from the group after all six were in view.
A youtuber named Bahinko uploaded the original video clip of this event. I watched it several times and the picture quality although not that great is much better than the breakdown video posted in this thread. Maybe one of you guys can put a link here to that video as I could not figure out how to do it.
It was uploaded January 5 2017. Warning it contains a few F Bombs but it is apparently an older couple recording it from their screens and discussing what they are seeing. The video is interesting because it shows the two individuals sitting in the snow for at least 3 minutes before the rest of the group appears from the trees.Then shortly after that the video camera moves away from the group and is recentered elsewhere where you can no longer see the group. Not conclusive by any means but fun to watch.
The couple are bickering and commenting throughout the clip. They are watching the event on 2 monitors and the video alternates views between the 2 screens.
