Can someone tell me which episode is from the intro with the British woman talking about seeing them? I think she was a business woman on vacation in the US or Canada?

Each of the product pages has the mW listed under “technical specifications”.

That one there, for example, is 250 MW.

I’d made a separate post about this yesterday but it got a little buried under new topics:

I was talking about the ‘Dazzler’ style direct energy (green laser) weapons employed by the military (of which I’ve personally used them on humans) as a non-lethal weapon for disorienting targets:

    Check out this video:

“The Blaze” also has a good article with a layman’s summary of the inner workings of the laser:

I was too afraid to try it on myself and there’s a minimum stand-off distance required to use it or it can cause permanent blindness. But yes, this is an actual non-lethal weapon we employed as part of stability operations (STABOPS) in Afghanistan. It overwhelms the eye in some way and causes temporary blindness from several hundred yards away. We mounted our ‘dazzlers’ on rifle vertical grips and tri-rail picatinny rail mount systems and them placed an EOTech sight on top. The total rig cam in under 3 lbs. and was effective during the day or the night.
