ParticipantThanks everyone. I agree with all of you. It’s tough eh? (Yes I’m Canadian LOL). Very difficult to narrow it down.
Can anyone confirm which episode is Tracy’s? It’s definitely one of the most compelling episodes I’ve ever heard.
If memory serves it was a call in portion in the second half of episode 75. Is that right?

ParticipantHere’s another vote for continuing Conspiracy Corner. I really enjoyed it. Thanks Wes & Duke.

ParticipantTwo more quick accounts – for whatever they’re worth…
The veterinarian who looks after my Mom’s horses is a First Nation (Native) member who grew up on Manitoulin Island. When I was visiting my Mom last year – the vet happened to be there. We asked her if she believed in Sasquatch. She gave a pause and then said calmly. “I’ve only seen them twice. Once as a girl, once as an adult 25 years later. We leave them alone and they leave us alone.” She had nothing else to say on the matter, like it was not a big deal.
My best friend visits his parents up in New Liskeard Ont., and as he was canoeing down a calm river with his wife. Both of them could hear bi-pedal footsteps paralleling them on the shore just inside the tree line. He was in an area where there were no roads at the time. He didn’t see anything, but they both were convinced that they were being followed by a Sasquatch. (his wife had never believed in Sasquatch until that event either).

ParticipantHey toomuch. I’m in Toronto now but I grew up in rural areas outside of the city. There’s a YouTube Channel called “Timbergiantbigfoot”. I believe he’s about 2-3 hours north of Toronto. He’s pretty vague about his exact location. Last year he released a video of a creature sitting in a gully and when he made a tree knock to get it’s attention, it got up and walked away. (He took a ton of criticism for that – someone is always dissatisfied somehow it seems.) Some of his detractors claimed that he was in a small greenbelt just outside of Hamilton at the time. I don’t know how they’d know that though. Although he has hundreds of videos uploaded, only a few have footage of some kind of creature. I find his videos interesting, but many of them are of Jim (TGBF) simply speculating on what he’s seeing. I think he’s genuine, although he’s more of a habituation guy…unlike Wes – who wants to shoot the dirty ape!
There was an interesting piece by Monster Quest done up in Snelgrove Lake – which I believe is up by Kenora Ontario. It’s pretty good. Here’s the link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-Qf_4Au3jw
I’ve read a few accounts of sightings as far south as Parry Sound and Midland. I guess the challenge when you’re open to the possibility of Sasquatch existing is that you want to balance being open to a real sighting yet stay on guard for confirmation bias – where all things appear to be evidence of Squatch.
It’s a fun thing to think about though. Happy Hunting!

ParticipantI found it! It’s Episode 91: Curiosity Killed the Cat. Definitely check this episode out if you haven’t heard it yet. Possibly the best one.

ParticipantThe Insider was one of my favourite episodes too. In fact, when I convince one of my skeptic friends to give SC a try I generally suggest that episode because it’s so engaging. It’s a great story and the staredown with the slightly crazed, mean Squatch is a thrill every time I hear it. Having said that, I always cringe a bit when guests talk about just how big, strong and powerful they are personally. It suppose they’re just trying to provide context…but I can’t help thinking that it always comes off a bit gross.
