Citizen Investigator – Isn’t that what 99% of Bigfoot “Researchers” are? How many people who have taken an interest in this subject are “qualified” researchers? Is there a school that offers a specific degree on finding bigfoot? I don’t need to be a specialized investigator to recognize hooey.

A man’s life work is summed up in just a few printed pages? Handwritten at that? It seems only logical that if I wanted my work, that was this ground breaking (monumental really) to be preserved, it would be with a lot notebooks, research papers, pictures, all the things you see professional scientists in any given field collect and save. A scientist or a Dr. is going to be precise in everything he says, and no nomenclature mistakes. Who would do this poorly? It would be someone who did a cursory study of a particular study, in this case, apes and anatomy, to write fiction. Just like the person who wrote the “Miller” doc. So much of what is written is too general, too many holes. The credits at the end of the Miller doc, shows he was influenced by other Authors, isn’t his life work earth shattering enough? Doesn’t make sense, unless of course, you were using this dated information to write a story, using period nomenclature.

If these people were real, this document legit, LNP, if genuinely interested in getting the truth out would have followed up with Sophia, directed her to someone of Dr Meldrum’s experience. Did someone on the list say Dr. Meldrum ridiculed this document? If this is true, an Anthropologist well versed in anatomy, skeletal structure, bigfoot etc…, doesn’t believe it, why would I? Hmmm…I wonder how many bookshelves his life’s work takes up?

Did no one look on the ballyhoo site to see that this document was originally posted there on August 17th, 2012, yet in this video (see link at end of paragraph, which is posted right here in a SC forum) around minute 1:35, she says that this correspondence from Sophia came yesterday (6/23/2013). When she opened this video, she said the date was 6/24/2013, making the day she got the email or whatever from Sophia on 6/23/13. Isn’t that enough to proof of deception?

Link to archive: http://www.bigfootposts.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html <-notice the archive date in the URL here, and on her page above the doc. It is from August 2012.

I personally would like to see this be real, I have followed bigfoot since the early 70s. I can not however, let my desire for bigfoot to be authenticated or validated, to cloud logical reasoning. I think some people want this to be real so bad that they are willing to overlook logic. I do find it sad that people feel they have to bully others, and try to put others down that don’t see things their way. Unfortunately, that is the way of the bigfoot community at large, and seems to remain that way here. Wes is always saying he wants his site to be where people can come and give their experiences or encounters, and to talk about Bigfoot. How is that to be done with bullys putting other people, “in the dirt”? That doesn’t seem like an environment that seeks collaboration, insight, or acceptance, which the bigfoot community desperately needs. I think this doc is as real as the easter bunny and tooth fairy, but the proof is in the pudding, and will all come out in the wash.

A couple people I know have been going over the Miller docs and this is what one wrote to me. I thought I would post it to this debate thread, so here it is:

A friend and I looked over this DOC together, and we found an inconsistency, and more questions.

He says he has never seen them other than to autopsy them, yet there are quotes referring to how scary howler monkeys sound at night.

That doc from Wentworths’ “grand-daughter”, that is all information extracted from the Miller doc.

Why is there credit to and a note “Influenced by the writings of…” at the end? Why would he be influenced by anyone if they were events from his own life?

That Linda person is an author and a blogger, so is her husband. They write bigfoot books and stories for kids. I agree that she made this story up.
I’d like to see what the Wentworth Docs say.

The video on SC http://sasquatchchron.wpengine.com/topic/dr-miller-investigates-dead-bigfoot-interesting/ is from June 2013, and she comments that she just got the letter yesterday, but she had posted this originally August 17th, 2012. Check out the dates on the Ballyhoo blogspot page under archive.

Sofia’s grandmother was born when he was 14-15 years old. By this accounting, her grandmother would be 92 in 2015-2016, not 92 in 2012 when this was first posted.
