I bet you’d get a look if any are in the area…the question in my mind would be whether they’d choose to let you know they’re observing. Good luck and post again if you have an interaction!
@Pam. Thanks for sharing. Can you give some details to your encounter? The reason I ask is the image gives off an “angry” vibe to me…would you characterize the creature that way? Also, are you saying what you saw was not a Sasquatch?
@Steve K – I love your descriptor of “more than physical only” and I’m shamelessly stealing it for future use!
I think it is obvious the creatures are physical due to the physical nature of the evidence left in their passing. That said, I also believe there is something more to them. In due time, that “something more” may be explained and understood through observation / study / science, but until then that “something more” is a mystery that is intriguing to me for sure.
Boy, I tell you what, Doug K….it’s hard to say. I definitely think there’s something to your line of questioning. The enemy is a liar and when the man was hit with “follow me” mentally, with a feeling that the invitation was malevolent, it could certainly be from the enemy.
Mike Wooley. God rest his soul. If I had read a report of that encounter, I’m not sure I would have believed it. But when you heard him tell it, man. Talk about genuine and credible!
Chris422 – You articulate perfectly where I am at with this subject at the moment. I think these creatures are flesh and blood, however may have some abilities that are rare or even unheard of in the animal kingdom that when studied by science are found to be naturally occurring.
Where I’m completely at a loss on is what these creatures are….in some encounters their behavior is described as very animalistic. In others, they appear to be as intelligent or more so than we are.
Jon W – you’re spot on. It’s true that there are a lot of folks out there getting paid who advance a lot of un-truths and are in it for themselves only, for sure. There are also a lot of honest, hard working people who have put their own time, energy, effort, and money into advancing knowledge they share with the greater community, and I’m with you….those people deserve to be paid.
Not entirely sure the guy is as credible as the image he is attempting to craft. Admittedly I haven’t watched a lot of his stuff, but in one video he pretty overtly went after Dr. Meldrum (referring to him as Mel-Dumb)….I’m not saying anyone is the be all / end all authority in the field, however Dr. Meldrum arguably is the closest to it. Secondary to that, I’ve never heard of Dr. Meldrum as having a mean bone in his body.
I’m very skeptical of anything put out by those who look to prop themselves up at the expense of others.
That really is some good advice, Augustine. I especially like the advice on not letting them in on knowing what they are/that they’re around or giving a reaction to their provocative behavior. I’m convinced some just like to mess with people in order to get a reaction.
I’ve heard accounts of bone piles (deer) being found deep in remote areas of forests that were attributed to Sasquatch. If this is accurate and if they treat human prey as any other prey, I’d imagine what’s left of the person is in a bone pile somewhere until nature finishes the remains off. Just my thoughts.
I think Wes interviewed an author who had collected stories. One of them was about a truck driver who hit and killed one while it crossed in front of him chasing deer. Is that the one you’re talking about? It’s somewhere in the mid-upper 400’s I believe. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
I’m not saying I have the answer, I’m truly just asking the question. How effective will an aerial drone – even a good one – be? These things have been so adept at avoiding modern technology attempts to capture their image. They bolt at the sight of anything pointed at them whether it be a gun, optical equipment, cell phone or a camera….they seem to know enough of game cams to know they’re to be avoided at all costs…I would guess if their senses are as acute as I believe they are, I have to assume any out of place or unnatural sounds – even from far away and above – would trigger a “Let’s get out of Dodge” response.
Thoughts? Has anyone had personal success with this tactic or know accounts of someone who has?
