ParticipantEssentially it all revolves around the seemingly complicated relationship between the viewers, creators/uploaders, the adds and the youtube platform itself. No one really knows how much money each uploader is making because it is contingent on the CPM, cost per thousand views which is decided I believe on a case by case agreement. Knobby is correct regarding if you follow an advertisement or not and if one video leads you to another at which point you click on an advertisement. This is why there’s a lot of people upset with FB’s video sharing aspect because none of the youtube channels or youtube itself get any credit when the video is shared on fb rather than yotube because you’re viewing fb adds rather than youtube which is probably why so many channels are devoted to bringing us all the latest & greatest blobsquatches from across the globe. We all have to watch it at least once to be sure it’s a fake or hoax, right? And that’s the endgame.

ParticipantI’ve seen most of these, there are a lot of good photos however as Knobby noted many are fake. I stopped watching whenever he posted some that were from the movie Monster because he/she is clearly not double checking their sources although they were a vouple i had never seen before.

ParticipantI think it’s important to put into consideration that those that follow the Biblical doctrine(s), no matter the iteration of it, accept that the Bible only teaches what we need to know, not everything there is to know. That said, debating about the “proper” interpretation or literal translation without the exact preoccupations of the time, especially during OT, can be somewhat…agonizing, frustrating & perhaps even seemingly pointless (not trying to step on anyone’s toes).
To reroute to the original question at hand; is demonic really that surprising? We’ve all heard the encounters (well I’m only on ep. 185), many people have a hard time coping with this subject after seeing it, especially with no former knowledge of it. How many times are we going to hear the words “dread” “fear” “scary” “unbelievable” etc. used? People are just using a word in their world view to describe something that terrified them & is easily identifiable to most other people. How many people seem at a loss for words or struggle to tell their story? I don’t think most of them that use it really mean a “demon(ic)” but are just grasping at an attempt to convey a presentiment that a vast majority of people won’t experience or subscribe to as truth.

ParticipantI’m aware he’s never been on the show, I believe it was just an exert from one of his many interviews. I could have sworn that it was SC because I’ve only watched a few of his doc/interviews on youtube & this particular monologue was only about 10 minutes in length & I’ve had trouble finding it anywhere but I want to say it was in the first 30-maybe 40 episodes of SC & it was played immediately after the intro.
Thanks for the feedback Jan, I could totally be off base here but I could have sworn it was on SC.
