Darrel BParticipantI knew a trucker who worked for Mayflower moving company. He would hire local guys back in the 90’s to help unload the trailer, and the form he had to fill out was always for the same name: “Manuel Labor”

Darrel BParticipantI grabbed some 180 grain hard cast 357 magnum rounds with the hopes that it will provide a compelling reason to stop an angry sasquatch aggression if ever encountered. The box says 1400 fps with 783 ft lbs of muzzle energy. I’m no ballistic expert, but that sounds like it might sting a little with a well placed shot.
Anyone have thoughts on this? Bill, you mentioned 158 grain instead.

Darrel BParticipantWow, Bill. That bra holster is actually very impressive! No one would ever know what she’s hiding in there.
How fast can it be deployed? My wife and daughter both need one of those.

Darrel BParticipantThere’s a guy on TikTok that is pretending to be a country artist. He is using AI to create these songs and most of the images for the videos. That guy is “family” so I won’t post any links.
He is gaining a lot of traction with subs, views, remixes, and even radio play and interviews. The guy can’t carry a tune in a bucket, but he BELIEVES he can learn and catch up to the hoax eventually.
So AI is empowering delusion in people, apparently. He is loving all the attention and is focused on this exclusively right now instead of his daily work as a husband and father. This is going to blow up in his face because he’s not capable of perpetuating a hoax on this level.

Darrel BParticipantOh can I play too? 😁
New word of the day for today is one of my favorites:penultimate (pronounced “pen ultimate”)
It means second to last in order.
Example: At the time of this posting, Wolfheathen’s post was the penultimate reply in this thread.
Who’s got tomorrow’s word? M99? 😂

Darrel BParticipantYeah and who the heck is this Darrel the Forest Guy he’s talking about? 😂

Darrel BParticipantIt’s funny we were just talking about an ape suit in that other thread. We need to have him do some thermal testing for @Steve_E!!
August 23, 2025 at 10:38 am #276435
Darrel BParticipantMaybe a second question should be asked, “Who here has an ape suit?”

Darrel BParticipant@Andrew_C Are you asking about fiction or non-fiction? Sounds like you mean fiction.

Darrel BParticipantSince thermal imaging is only reading heat, a lot depends on the background heat or lack thereof. One thing that thermal cameras (at least all the ones I’ve tested) don’t read is air temperature. Try using a hair drier and see what I mean.
Regarding an ape suit – if it was kept warm until donned and the surrounding trees and ground were significantly cooler than the suit, it would show up pretty hot. But a suit would likely acclimate to the outside temperature given enough time, and it could potentially block the heat signature of the human inside except for exposed areas like eyes and mouth.
Regarding a hair-covered creature, thicker hair and dense hair coverage would also conceal the body heat to a degree but again, there has to be a significant delta T to show up on a thermal camera.FLIR is pretty good about including a temperature reading on the crosshairs. That’s very useful information when trying to determine what you’re seeing. An ape suit could be 10 degrees warmer than the area surrounding it and it would show up hot. If the actual temperature reading of the suit is 50 degrees F and the trees are around 35-40 degrees F, then that makes the “hot target” a little less likely to be a warm body, even though it appears to be hot. If the same target was reading 85 degrees F, then that changes things.

Darrel BParticipantAI was modeled after humans and studies human behavior. It’s no mystery why it gravitates to depravity. It doesn’t even need dark forces to manipulate it behind the curtain to become a problem for humanity.
What it DOES need is a restrainer, and I believe the Holy Spirit will handle that until the Rapture/Tribulation. I don’t plan on attending that after-party, so no worries here!August 13, 2025 at 7:37 am #276240
Darrel BParticipantOne thing I’ve found is that with Sasquatch, there are no rules. The dos and don’ts work here but not there. What draws them in today repels them tomorrow. What ol’ Johnny does every time he goes out and has an experience doesn’t help ol’ Jane when she goes out to the same place.
I’ve driven myself mad trying to avoid all those things they say not to do. Maybe the rules apply to individual Sasquatch, but as a whole they seem to be like big hairy snowflakes. Each one unique like humans are.
I wonder if they have a Gen Z problem, too?😂

Darrel BParticipantIt’s just a little too risky right now. A local sheriff’s deputy told my friend they pull a lot of bodies out of the Sam from being dumped out there. It’s an hour’s drive from Houston, the fourth largest city in the US so of course it’s going to have that kind of activity.
But this is a little different as it seems they’re out there moving around off-trail. David (my friend who ran across them) was with his brother that night when they came up behind them on the trail. David stopped and let them walk past them and go ahead. They were avoiding eye contact and didn’t say a word as they passed, like they were very “mission focused” as he puts it. David made a quick decision (that probably saved their lives) and started walking back the opposite direction from where these guys went. Had he continued on, a quick ambush could’ve happened without any of them firing a shot. I don’t think they wanted to draw any attention with a gun fight (yes David was visibly armed with a 9mm and a 44 magnum) but a couple of surprise machetes would do the job quietly if they got close enough. Are they growing weed out there? Maybe
Could they have been smuggling product or trafficking humans out there, just hiding out for a little while and moving after dark? Maybe more likely.
If I was to go back out there anytime soon, it would be before dark. I just need to get the mics up and get out. Unfortunately now any tree knocks or strange vocals could be these guys communicating and not the target subject I’ve been looking for. I really don’t want to record these guys because I have to go back to get the mics. Even during the day it could be risky.

Darrel BParticipantI wonder how a Sasquatch would react to a human on mushrooms laughing uncontrollably at him? It would be a good test of their “humanity” to see if they are affected by contagious laughter. In other words, could they keep from giggling along?
Can’t help but wonder if they have a sense of humor.

Darrel BParticipant@M99 – went camping in the LBL over Independence Day weekend and picked up an audio recording console from a guy in Nashville. I’m rebuilding my Pro Tools studio for some upcoming projects. Been writing music more than running out to the forest lately, all while working a full time job in HVAC! Lol
I just talked to my friend who had the sighting. He was out Friday night and ran across three guys with rifles and pistols (cartel members, in his opinion) who were acting very sketchy. He got lucky that he walked out of there. That was right in my research area. Now I’m a little concerned that if I go off trail, I’m going to run into booby traps near a grow site. Or worse.
