That’s cool. They find a lot of prints! Where is this and have you had experiences?
I’ve only seen a tree structure in Alaska and followed some muddy hair smears on the foliage on that hike.
Now I can hear them in Virginia making all kinds of weird screaming.
You’re right! That does sound like rocks clicking. The “wood knocks” come from the throat according to an account in the Terror in Woods books by Sheenan. Also that episode Wes did with the lady that babysat the little big foot babies in her house did a clicking sound with her throat to copy and communicate with them.
Are there anymore accounts where people have seen them making the wood knock with their mouth?I thought it was a great idea so I made a shirt but can’t really link it. I designed one on my Tee Springs account. I named it “we need nature”.
Doesn’t seem like terrifying behavior. More like annoying or something messing with the poor guy just trying to chill at his cabin?

I lived in Alaska for 22 years and man I miss it! There are some very nice people there it really is a community of neighbors.Do you have power at your cabin? I’d try setting up lights according to many accounts these creatures don’t like the lights and cameras.
If that didn’t work I’d invite a crew of men with big guns to take this thing out. Seems like the BF in the colder regions are really mean. (There’s an account in Terror in the Woods of nasty ones near Fairbanks) I know they are out there I’ve seen their tree “structures” while hiking very close to Anchorage.
The military takes these out sometimes. I’d try if it got dangerous.
There is no way I would go on that hike at night! Kind of a strange idea to hike at night on purpose. There are people that love the night though…

When you say that they are dependent on something here on earth. I just had the thought pop in mind about how the movies and television shows have hidden truth in them. Monsters, Inc was about them feeding off our fear. Well if we are all energetic beings maybe our different emotions give off different things? Something that gives them energy, like in the show Visitor. That show was creepy and it reminded me of Monsters, Inc.
Does the size of these mound giants match up with the theory of the mountains being tree stumps? Mud Fossil University channel on youtube finds a bunch of rocks that really do look like body parts and bones.

Thank you soooo much! That’s it! I wasn’t going back far enough.Oh my goodness I live off route 5 in Charles City. I am so keeping my eyes peeled. I was at the local hardware store last summer and when I started asking about keeping chickens, this older gentleman came over to me with one piece of advice. “Don’t try it” I wish I would have asked him more questions (if I had been more educated on this topic.)
Took my dog out on the Wahrini Trail near me and she would not continue on when we headed towards the powerline trail. She never does that but I listened to her and turned around.
