Wes, how many witness accounts have you received from MJ/Southern NJ? Back in the late 70s my older brother & i got run out of the woods/marsh we played in, fished, did some off the books hunting & trapping. It was doing the swaying thing, my brother’s friend threw a stick at it, it roared broke a tree in half, we turned to run,I tripped over a tree root, my brother tripped over me but was gone in seconds I got up and just knew whatever it was was going to get me.
7-8ft, dark brown or black. Not a clear view of it through the laurel bushes, the dead sticker vines, etc.
My brother & his friend had built a lean to way out on the peninsula, they were hunting ducks, geese, trapping muskrat & raccoon. So there was always a source of offal being discarded into the brush.
This location is on the same river and woodlands that Swampdawg has experienced his in recent years. Back then everybody “knew” there was one Sasquatch or they were a Pacific Coast/Sierra Nevada inhabitant.
