David W started the topic Monkey Mountain Conservation Area: no primates here…really? in the forum Sasquatch Forum 3 years, 3 months ago
So the Missouri Dept of Conservation magazine had an article about Monkey Mountain Conservation Area in NW MO, and they go out of their way to talk about how there are no primates living in this area…however, the trackway in the photo has some unusual charactistics…what do y’all think?

Just returned Monday night from a trip to see the Avett Brothers at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO. (Great show, btw, we dig the Avetts.) On Saturday, my wife, my sister, brother-in-law, and myself went hiking in the Lost Creek Wilderness Area in Park County, Colorado.
I was keeping my eyes out for any sasquatch signs, knowing that this county has…Read more

Looks intriguing…I wish everyone who shoots a sasquatch video would return to the site and re-shoot the video with a human of known height for size reference.

That’s good to hear – I like the low water conditions for finding gold! Too bad about the drought however.

So I will be in Shasta County, CA, later this month on business and may have an extra day out there to devote to looking for sasquatch and/or gold panning. Does anyone have any suggested locations for either activity? Thanks!!

For me, the Patterson-Gimlin footage is definitive, and I can’t think of any other footage I have seen in that definitive category.
Maybe check out the ThinkerThunker channel on YouTube for some other cool videos and analysis.

@Debbie S: Wow, that’s quite a statement to throw out there in the midst of directing traffic. She probably had some cool stories to tell – too bad there wasn’t more time to ask follow-up questions!

When I lived in Arkansas working as an environmental consultant around 2004, one of my clients was Chemtura (a chemical manufacturing company), and they had a plant located south of El Dorado, Arkansas, about 7 miles north of the Louisiana border.
One day I was visiting the plant and meeting with two Chemtura guys: a British PHD chemist and a…Read more

Florissant, cool! Seems like they get more than their share of tornados around Florissant – must be an exciting place for them to live.

Thanks for the welcomes and right on!
Also, I forgo an important item from my list of interests/hobbies: gold prospecting. I work for an independent (electric) power producer company, and work travels have given me opportunities for finding gold in the CA motherlode region, WY, NY, and VT.
I have current projects in central NY and Shasta…Read more

Hello all! New member here from Missouri (St. Louis area). Finally signed up for an annual subscription after listening to the free content for a year plus. Have never seen a sasquatch myself but had a couple of minor non-scary experiences in the woods over the years that made me wonder.
Other things I’m into besides sasquatch: playing blues…Read more
