ModeratorThanks for sharing Jay. Oh, and good job on the “free money day” story. That sounds like something we would do to our kids! Lol

ModeratorInteresting Rob K! Have you ever tried to hang an additional camera up further at a distance (maybe higher looking down), directed toward the camera watching the feed barrel? I have heard some say they have tried that and that might help get you some answers.
I am a firm believer that they know cameras are there.

ModeratorI have seen bears in Tennessee in trees up about 45-50 ft, so they can get up there. I walked right under one without even knowing he was there. My friend caught a glimpse and then we took off quickly and quietly. The other one I saw, we watched from a distance. He didn’t move much, but I did see him looking around. The thing in this video was like a statue, it was so still. Lol
Ben, this was in Maine.
I would’ve never guessed a porcupine on this one (because I honestly have never seen a porcupine and don’t know how big they can get), but I found a BFRO article (from Moneymaker) saying they determined it was a porcupine.

I wonder what a BF would be thinking to go up a tree. That would limit their ability to exit quickly or hide but going up one with people around. There are a good amount of reports of them though!

ModeratorRob K, did you experience an electrical type disturbance causing the cameras to show distorted images, or was it more battery drain or card failure? Using an EMF detector would be interesting to see what results are given. I could see pheromones tipping off one, that we are around.
Interesting…

ModeratorFrom what I have read regarding Uncontacted Tribes, they seem to still consider various tribes “uncontacted” when in fact, there has been some contact recorded. They really should be called “limited contact” instead. They do occasionally discover a new group in areas not ever seen, but the world is becoming a smaller place everyday. With the push for logging in certain areas, it would be unusual to find a new actual uncontacted tribe.
The idea of how they came by any objects that are seen (knives and such), seem to come from stories told from other tribes were contact has been made. People who have left or had accidental encounters from missionaries and such.
There are always hoaxes, but a lot of these are real. If you find the subject interesting, then just do some searching yourself and see what you can find. I like this page. http://www.survivalinternational.org/
They post a list of tribes considered “uncontacted” but I know one group in particular (Guarani) have been influenced by outside people for many years, but they still remain segregated from a modern society. Still they seem to contain a lot of validated information. Just do your own research and always question when something is out of place.
Pretty interesting subject. Could you imagine living in one of these tribes and being brought to a modern society? Talk about brain overload!!!

ModeratorHi Jason!
I have been slacking a bit and fell behind. I will be going through my email this weekend and get everyone updated with a new spreadsheet. I would like to come up with some possible activities to share with everyone that could be going on in their areas. Maybe people can get out more in 2017. Anyhow, if you have left a message the last month or emailed me, I will get you guys all added and a new list sent out so everyone has the same information.
Talk to everyone soon!

ModeratorHi Pam. Hope you do feel better real soon. Everyone seems to be fighting some type of infection right now 🙁
Interesting thought, but I think I agree with Steve E about it possibly being a 411 event. Most likely during that time, illness would’ve played a big part in their disappearance. Something like that could easily take out an entire group back then. Didn’t they talk about some of the different tribes being hostile as well? I think they will find more and will someday find something that will help resolve the question of where they went.

ModeratorSiege of Honobia was the episode that really made be believe they have more than just animal intelligence. That is still my all time favorite episode. Has there ever been any more investigations on that property? Or, wasn’t the property sold? I cannot remember.
