That was a great interview with Dr.Meldrum and I enjoy Linda M Howe also.I respect Jeff M. Very much he always uses Straight Science with this touchy subject and contributes a great deal to forcing other Scientists to take this subject seriously. He gets a bad rap for appearing on so many different programs and ive even heard former members of the SASQUATCH CHRONICLES crew talking smack about him saying that he’s a attention whore and crap like that.Im sure it was just jealously on their part but it kinda turned me off from this podcast for awhile until they left the program. I wouldn’t turn down any chance either to get on Tv and bring awareness to Sasquatch and im sure the money was nice also.Any chance to help bring awareness to this subject and get it out of the folk lore and into the reality light is a good thing and I commend him for having the fortitude to risk his reputation and putting it out there.When its all said and done Dr.Jeff Meldrum will be one of this subjects most influential and informative men in modern Science.

Im in the woods daily walking my dog hiking, camping, fishing and hunting if I add it up ive spent more time in the forest then at home by far.Now ive come across black bears hundreds of times while hiking and hunting.But out of all the hrs and miles and miles ive never came across a dead bear or bears bones and out of the millions of deer ive rarely found dear bones or any other critter for that matter. The fact is mother nature is very efficient at cleaning up and dead creatures don’t last very long in the forest.The carcasses get eaten immediately and the bones become scattered then the squirrel and rats munch up the bones or bury them for later.Which is why antler sheds are few and far between those dang squirrels are pretty efficient at cleaning up the scraps. In my opinion there aren’t many Sasquatch around which makes running into a body or a bone a million times less likely.

It isnt that no bones or no bodies have been found because they have.The problem is the Government has a team ready and waiting for any evidence to surface, and then they are off immediately to clean up the scene, spred Disinformation, and do anything necessary to discredit the witnesses. There are recently released government documents that prove this fact.The evidence is out there its just getting it into the mainstream public’s attention thats the problem.The government officials do everything they can to make anyone that comes forward to look like stupid mentally ill people.Then throw in layers and layers of misinformation making it so hard to believe that most critical thinking people start having a problem figuring out whats real and whats crazy talk.We all know and heard of some of these known hoaxers, I wont mention any names, dont be surprised if the more recognizable one’s were hired to pull off the hoaxes and then make sure every one knows that it’s a hoax.Just to keep the possibility of hoaxes in their minds.The best thing someone could do if they came across physical evidence, is to keep it as quiet as possible untill the right people get involved.
Good luck david that idea was kicking around in my head for awhile, I was thinking of if you were to set up camp in a good location for a day or two and while your there set up the camera high above pointing straight down overlooking the camp site.The Sasquatch will obviously see you camping but wont see you setting up the camera, then pack up camp maybe leave some apples or treats behind with the camera over looking where you camped.After your gone they will come investigate the area were you were and with any luck you get the money shot. I just think if they dont see you setting up the camera and keep it high enough were they wont notice it and camping will give you the cover to set it up unnoticed. Be carefull good luck.
The only reason i would shoot one is if my life was in danger I believe that they are few and far between and to take one out of gene pool would be devastating to their future. Im sure they have similar reproductive circumstances to all us other primates and aren’t lucky enough to conceive with every partner or everytime. Like humans and great apes circumstances have to be just right for conception to take place.Thats the miracle of life.Id be happy to talk with you we will have to figure out at time to get in contact.
We are dealing with a highly intelligent primate and when a human comes into their home “The forest” they dont run away like a deer or a bear, they stealthy follow and watch every move the human makes so if your installing something in their home they are watching which then makes it easy for them to avoid the camera’s. They have learned over the century’s to avoid human contact at all cost. My opinion is that they move around migrating great distances and don’t stay in a area very long. I also think there are very few families maybe only 100 individuals in the whole of north America.Think about if there were only 100 deer in north America, how difficult would it be to find one if they were intelligent enough to instinctively avoid being spotted. Humans dont have a very good reputation with the creatures of the forest, We kill and eat them. I dont know about you but id avoid humans if I were a smart creature.
Id be happy to sit back down with Wes and go over some behavior characteristics and some of my theories that ive thought about since my encounter.and answer any questions others might have.
In my opinion I think that if you place the game cam high up in a tree 20+ ft and face the camera pointing straight down on the trail so as a creature walks beneath it it will catch it I noticed during my encounter that it never really looked up into the trees so it wouldn’t notice the camera or its light.Strap it on the underside of a branch that goes over the trail you suspect it will take, no one that ive seen has tried this so it may be the ticket to finally getting the money shot. Make sure the camera has a wide angle lens for the perfect overhead shot.
