One reason I ask about this is that I have seen gorillas just loose their minds when they see their own reflections; they charge, make a lot of noise and throw things. I am sure there are lots of reasons for it but there seems to be a lot of discussion/observations in which the behavior of the two critters seem to parallel. If the Sasquatch, generally, are as intelligent commonly believed; it lends credibility as they recognize their own strength (since they evidently don’t accidentally break glass when tapping) and at the same time do not seem to regard their reflections as anything disconcerting. I find it difficult to accept they would consider glass any type of barrier in some of the aggressive encounters whereas they bang on doors and walls or even attempt to turn door knobs. This type of intimidation tactic seems a bit single dimensional or “tunnel vision” if they are trying to get people to come outside.
