ParticipantI watched nearly the entire interview and I admit that I had some other things going on while I watched it but I didnt hear him attack. I heard him talk about thinking Bigfoot was real at one time in the form of gigantopithicus. I heard him talk about thinking people were seeing bears and the way the mind can play tricks on a person, especially if they’re scared. But I didn’t hear him attack anybody. I guess I need to watch it again.

ParticipantJoe Rogan has looked into this a lot. Been out with researchers and talked to a lot of people who said they had an encounter. He has said numerous times he would love for Bigfoot to be real but isn’t convinced from what he has seen. As for him saying people are lying, people lie all the time for absolutely no reason. It makes sense that people would lie about Bigfoot. Wes has mentioned on the show over and over that he doesn’t blame people who haven’t seen one and do t believe they are real.

ParticipantLove me some Joe Rogan. I haven’t watched this clip but what I have heard him say about Bigfoot in the past is pretty much my take on it.

Participant…and Todd Standing, people actually take that guy seriously? Occam’s razor folks.

ParticipantIf I’m wrong, I’m wrong. It really won’t change much for me. If it turns out Bigfoot is being covered up by the government then it has been that way my entire life so nothing has changed.
@Knobby, I never used the words “entire populace” or said I was talking about everybody. I said, most people, and I stand by that. Just go out in public and tell me you think these people staring at their phones are going to bring consequences for anything. Take their phones and their Netflix and their fast food from them on the other hand and you would have an uprising.I’m not trying to convince anyone of anything. Just explaining why I think this is highly unlikely.

Participant@ Knobby, seemy answer to Howard K as to why I don’t agree with you about grave consequences.

ParticipantTo your last question, I don’t believe it would. I think most people would just nod and go back to what they were doing. Man do you watch people much? I do and most of them can’t quit staring at their damn phone long enough to talk to their husband or wife or children. Do y’all think these zombies concern the government enough to put much ass behind hiding this from them? What are they going to do about it if somebody proved all this? Most of the American public would hardly look up from their phones. All of this is why I don’t buy it.

ParticipantThat presupposes that UFOs are aliens. Again, if you could prove that tomorrow, what would you do about it?
The government is not scared of you or me. And that’s part of what is wrong with it.

ParticipantThey can’t even get the mail right, man. They run trains into each other often enough that flying is safer. So I have some trouble believing these folks are capable of not only pulling this off but keeping it quiet. But even if they could and even if it was for reasons we can only begin to form vague suspicions of, what are the consequences for them if they were to be caught? Nothing. So why would they need to invest so much into it that they are terrorizing some poor woman? No matter how you turn this it makes no sense for them to do it.
March 2, 2018 at 6:39 pm #121745Brad S
ParticipantMaybe but again, what would anybody do about it? As long as most Americans have their Netflix and their Amazon, and big Macs in their bellies thats about all they care about.

ParticipantI guess you guys are a lot more impressed by our government than I am. The government is a big, slow, lumbering web of bureaucracies. Bloated and comically inefficient. These people can’t even make simple things run smoothly when it’s turned over to them. And they can’t keep from doing stupid things that get them caught and disgraced on the individual level. These same people have orchestrated a finely tuned conspiracy and managed to keep everyone in on it fom blabbing effectively enough that most people don’t even believe this thing is real? The idea that the federal government can run anything that efficiently is harder for me to believe than the existence of any cryptid. Lol. And let’s just say this was going on. What would they have to fear if found out? What would anyone do about it? And all the government would have to do is shrug and say, “Hell we were in the same boat as most of you. We didnt know these things were out there.”

ParticipantI guess I keep coming back to the same question, to what end? Why would the government go to such Byzantine lengths over this? Why would they care whether or not people know about Bigfoot? And even if they did care, why would they need to engage in such an elaborate cover up? The whole thing would pretty much run itself. Bigfoot does a good enough job of staying out of sight that nobody has a good picture of one. Nobody can even prove it exists. So what is left for the government to do? It doesn’t seem like they would have to do anything. It certainly doesnt seem like scare tactics would be necessary. And I’m sorry, this woman very well may be a real nice lady, but all the government would have to do is twirl their finger around their temple when this woman talks and just dismiss her as a nut. Most people would buy that. No need to waste time sending people to follow her around or knock on her door. We are fighting a war on two fronts, we have a host of domestic problems that need to be solved. Why in the world would the government care what this woman or anybody else said about Bigfoot? I’m sorry but nothing about that scenario makes any sense.

ParticipantIt really doesnt matter to me. It’s just hard to understand how people believe stuff like this. Is it possible? Sure. But what is more likely? That this woman is being harassed by the government or that this is all made up? Do we think the government really cares about everybody who makes claims about an animal that most people don’t even believe exists? With all that is on the government’s plate they are going to invest time and resources trying to scare some woman because of Bigfoot? That’s so silly.

ParticipantI guess some people will believe anything they are told.

ParticipantThat’s funny, Gum. The person who doesn’t just accept a wild story about being stalked by government “MIBs” is the one who is scared and paranoid? Hokay. The “credentials” part gave me a chuckle too.
