Good one BirdMama! And I should have searched harder on the forum. I like that others are having the same thoughts. Makes me feel like I’m going in the right direction.
Good point sir. For the record. I have no idea if I’m on to something or just reading to much into nothing. Maybe what I need to find is a “dead zone” in or near a larger density population? I dunno. I’m winging it here and am thankful for your input.
Oooh. Maybe Wes could do a class like this. How to interact with the wild drunk in it’s natural environment. Hahaha wasn’t he a bouncer at one time? I feel like it would be a toss up between bears and drunks as to which is more dangerous.
Wes, you are my man crush. Hahaha ok too much. But you are an inspiration to me. A beacon of sound (Get it?) That makes me think that one day. I can come up with a great concept of my own. Something I can love and nurture as you have done this fantastic show. Something that people will really enjoy and give me and mine the same sense of pride that you must have and have certainly earned. You have taught me to ignore the detractors and via your interview skills. To keep my mouth shut when others are talking. Making me a better listener. As a guess. I would assume it’s akin to Atheists attacking Christianity in all it’s forms. Or maybe a less hot topic button way of putting it…Like a child trying to destroy something out of spite.
When I get attacked on other forums for my spelling or spacing, grammar etc.

I was attacked by a violent gun once. I was minding my own business when suddenly! Out of nowhere this gun sprang out at me! The evil in the room was palpable. Fortunately, the gun was drunk and I managed to stun it with a teacup hold and transition to a Weaver stance. Thus saving the day. Thank goodness for my elite Boy Scout, Navy Seal, Recon Delta traning and over active imagination. I might not have survived without it. I’m pretty much a hero now or at least employee of the month.
I wonder how long before any of us here in the U.S.A. have our professional licenses threatened for speaking up too loudly against the illegal invader du jour. As an example: British firearms enthusiast Callum Long Collins lost his U.K. firearms license for daring to say the French should have been able to defend themselves with handguns during the 2015 Paris attacks. I guess im just going off of feelings instead of facts but it doesn’t appear to be improbable to me.

Kim, maybe one of these groups would make a good interview subject? Maybe they are calling them Indian marker trees because it’s easier to get Government grants in order to protect them? Call them Sasquatch markers and they end up being dismissed and destroyed.
Or, maybe I’ve read too many conspiracy theories. Haha

That’s what got my attention.
I also felt like the small tree marker map on the mountain stewards website appears to match/overlay well with various sighting maps on the web.
