I like the one, I believe, is entitled “Independence Day”….I think it was filed in Yosemite or the Sierras. Best footage and IT IS NOT A GUY IN SOME MONKEY SUIT! If Planet of the Apes was the best we could do, what are the odds that anyone has the money and talent to hoax these videos??? Drives me crazy….Keep up the good work Wes and the rest of “Our Gang”! Thanks Elise. You are always so kind in responding to my questions, remarks, etc. I appreciate your imput. Isn’t this just the weirdest realization of a lifetime? Thank you Elise for your reply. I agree we should all be able to voice our opinion. but I feel Wes, having an audience and a show of his own, should watch what he says to his audience. He not only puts anybody who would attempt to do such a foolish thing in jeopardy of getting themselves killed, but also be mindful that he is not distinguishing the “crazed” ones from the more peaceful ones. He did not distinguish a juvenile, a female with her young, or an elderly one who possess no threat. We know nothing, absolutely nothing about this creature other than our interpretations of the few behavior traits we have seen, or other relatively minor eye witness accounts. We don’t know how long they live, what their society consists of, and cannot even say what they are and how they came to be, if that is at all possible. But I do appreciate the feedback Elise and will try to be more open minded. But if we were given dominion over everything, who pays for the crimes against humanity, nature, and earth? Everything suffers from our greed and “superior” attitude. I wish we would just leave them alone and continue with the intrique these guys have generated for so many years. It’s the most interesting and mysterious issue I’ve ever come across and I hope they never declare them to be real for the sake of the creatures and the sake of people so foolish they would attempt to kill one, or worse…capture it! I think so because I was floored when Wes said for people to “cut one of their heads off…” They would not post it. I’m still upset he would take such a position. We don’t have to prove they are real…those who are interested in knowing, have found out that they are. So…my position is to leave them alone, but warnings should be posted on trails, areas, they are known to be in. Simple and effective…but no one listens to me unfortunately. Leave them alone…every time us humans get involved, we screw things up for the animals, or wahtever this creature is….LEAVE THEM ALONE…DO WE HAVE TO DOMINATE EVERYTHING? Thank you.
Wes.. You should retract that unbelievably irresponsible comment you made to your listeners before someone gets themselves killed! For you to even suggest cutting off their head to prove their EXISTENCE GOES AGAINST EVERY SHOW YOU’VE HAD ON GOVERNMENTAL COVER UPS, EMPLOYEES KILLING THESE CREATURES, AND YOU HAVE ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED THIS THROUGH YOUR PROGRAMMING. CAN’T YOU SEE THAT? IT CERTAINLY DID FOR ME AND ANYBODY WHO TRULY IS INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT THE TRUTH. TO PROMOTE A KILLING SPREE LIKE THIS MAKES ME WONDER WHAT YOUR TRUE OBJECTIVE WAS IN THE FIRST PLACE, TO CUT THEIR HEADS OFF? WHAT’S THE MATTER WITH YOU?
I just heard Wes say for anyone to just kill one of these creatures and cut off its head and drag it in to prove they exists! I’m appalled at this irresponsible and senseless comment. For a broadcaster who professes to run a radio show that helps people who have had an encounter have a forum to come to and share their experience is not only wrong that this would prove anything but to put his audience at risk like this is absurd and irresponsible. To prove what? From everything he has said, people interviewed, governmental cover ups, IT’S ALREADY BEEN Proven!! So, in other words Wes, come to your senses here for God’s sake, you’ve just put a bounty on a living creature you know nothing about other than your own personal vendetta against these creatures. Is that what this was all about? I wonder? And don’t call me a flute player either. Thanks to the education I’ve sought from your show, Ive come to realize how very dangerous these creatures are and for you to put your listeners at risk like this is horrifying at Best! You’ve overstepped your boundaries by making this comment and condemning any creature to death to prove nothing to scientists, general public, etc. If they want to know the truth, they’ll seek it.. Like I did. But you have done irreparable damage to these creatures who scared you.. Big deal,, then don’t go in the woods after dark if you don’t want to be frightened half to death! Us humans have a responsibility to act responsible for crying out loud! To promote the possible extinction of yet another species who frightened us, who gave us pretty things to put on coffee tables, or for soup the makes you more of a man is beyond my comprehension and it should be for every single listener you have. Haven’t we done enough irreparable damage to the populations of whales, sharks, elephants, rhinos, need I go on? If you don’t want to risk your safety, then don’t go in the woods. Simple strategy. If you don’t want to risk getting your leg eaten off, then don’t go in the ocean. And if they are taking our kids, then maybe your message should be to hang on to your kids in the woods or don’t risk your child’s safety by taking them in there in the first place. When are we as an alleged intelligent species going to act in an intelligent manner when it comes to cohabitation with things we may not understand? shame on you for making such a bold statement for no logical, ethical and moral reason. Thanks Dave. Sometimes I feel like an idiot for wanting to share this information by the way people look at me! I can’t understand their reaction and why they are not the least bit interested in finding out, or at the very least asking me why I do believe that these creatures exist? What’s ironic to me is that these people who think that this is just one giant hoax being played out all over the world by thousands of wanna be hoaxers, truth is.. the hoax is on those who don’t believe they exist. They are the ones that have been dooped into not believing, not the other way around. But really Dave, doesnt this take priority over almost anything else in the news? I guess where I live has a lot to do with it, but just because I don’t live in Ethiopia, doesnt mean I think those people are faking how hungry they are!! Poor analogy maybe, but you get my point? Thank you Dave for your reply. After just by chance stumbling on this website because of my love for animals, much to my surprise, what I once didn’t give much thought to, was as real as my dog is! Albeit, much more rare of course and to a limited segment of our population. What bothers me is just because my friends and I all get up in the city, and have no experience in hunting, rural areas of our country, or probably no chance in hell of running into one of these guys, they don’t seem the least bit interested in what I believe is the most intriguing, fascinating, and yes frightening, subject I have ever run across! Not one of my friends, boyfriends, family is the least bit interested to even listen to just one of the encounters I have listened to. These are intelligent people, have careers in many fields, so why the ‘ignorance is bliss” attitude? Anyway, maybe I’m the odd one, but I find all of the stories and experiences of people who are familiar with sasquatch fascinating. Thank you again. I hope Tracy has found some peace of mind to handle what happened to him. Marlene

My dog means everything to me and considering how frightened even the aggressive dogs react to these creatures, it’s heart breaking to think of what they went through if it was big foot that they encountered. I felt reluctant to say anything because I didn’t want to insult those people who live in rural areas where dogs are kept outside and understandably so. I guess living in San Francisco you would never see a dog outside unless on a leash. But if you know the big guy is creeping around your property, for God’s sake, protect your pets. I don’t know about you but I’d shoot anybody or anything that would threaten my dog!! It’s my responsibility to keep him safe from the various monsters that lerk out there. Anyone caught participating in Dog fighting should be tossed into a remote part of the woods where big foot resides and get a real feel what it’s like to fight for your life.
I’m in favor of keeping this situation in relation to this creature just the way it is. We don’t need a body to prove their existence because those that are truly interested in knowing whether they are real or not, have alread done the homework to answer that question. Leave them alone. They don’t need us to protect them… In fact disclosing their existence to everyone just might be their demise…please just let them be..
