Participantwhen I witnessed a Sasquatch my first thought was “huh, so they do exist”. My second notion was to begin questioning everything I ever assumed about our place in things. The fact that there was this creature that was obviously superior to us in some ways, ie: enough that it had evaded tangible scientific proof, also implied to me that assumption of any type was folly. Every single thing I have learned since has backed this up. Every time I think I have an understanding of something bigfoot it gets contradicted. We know nothing and should assume nothing. It makes perfect sense that none of it makes any sense. We understand the Sasquatch about like the fish understand us. We should be very modest about our own superiority in regards to anything cryptid.

ParticipantI assumed that the pressure on chris was coming from the so called “goon squad” and not necessairily members of sasquatch chronicles. Did I miss something? Chris himself said in the show that gov plants would come on and post comments trying to discredit him. I did not read the comments on the episode but based off of some of the comments I have read on past episodes there are some very narrow minded members here. I generally try to ignore them. I suspect they are not what got to Chris.

ParticipantI could pick that episode apart 10 ways to sunday for example “beings from other universes” and then later in the show mentioned that there are no true aliens apparently implying that everything alien is actually home made, but had already also referenced 2 planets in our own galaxy. All contradicts itself. Not to mention that bigfoot stories and evidence predateany knowledge we have of genes and advanced science so surely you are not saying we made the bigfoot, experimented on it maybe but it was implied we created it. But then obviously we were not given this guy’s full story so maybe if he had elaborated more it would have clarified some things. So who knows. Wes said have an open mind. That is wise. Remember that even the people who have gathered the most info on this subject essentially know next to nothing. I know that does not jive with some people’s egos but those are probably the people you should watch out for. So I listen to the podcasts giving each person who shares the benifit of the doubt and taking it all with a grain of salt.
