Actually Sheri, I wear it as a sidearm and I would never shoot a 50ae at distance. But it would be very effective at close range (15-25ft).

I recently bought a desert eagle 50ae. I went with this over the 500 mag because I prefer a semi-auto over the revolver. I firmly believe I can drop any man or animal with this and now carry it every time I go hiking.

Russell, good hunting to you. When I became a member, I assumed their would be others that would want to get out and track one of these things down. But it seems, that’s not the case.

I’m hoping someone local with a sense of adventure and go for it attitude will join me.

I still have a health bit of skepticism for this endeavor I’m about to start, however it may actually work in my favor.

So, anyone willing and ready to jump in with both feet I have several areas I’d like to hit up.

I second that Nathan. I’m still very skeptical about all of this but truly enjoy each and every podcast. But Wes this guy was abosolutely playing you, he was so far from believable that my brain hurt every time he spoke.
