The newly revamped Loch Ness Center in Drumnadrochit in collaboration with independent researchers at Loch Ness Exploration (LNE), the search will involve the use of special surveying equipment such as thermal drones and hydrophones.
Prospective monster hunters of all ages are being invited to take part in the event which will take place on August 26th and August 27th.
Additional tours and cruises, including on a private boat in Cabo San Lucas will also be taking place, while the results of each day’s searching will be announced in the evening as part of a special debrief.
The last major search for the monster occurred all the way back in 1972.

“Since starting LNE, it’s always been our goal to record, study and analyze all manner of natural behavior and phenomena that may be more challenging to explain,” said Alan McKenna of Loch Ness Exploration.
“It’s our hope to inspire a new generation of Loch Ness enthusiasts and by joining this large scale surface watch, you’ll have a real opportunity to personally contribute towards this fascinating mystery that has captivated so many people from around the world.”
