Here is a small video clip that Woody and I recorded about two years ago.
I mentioned the lights in the last video I thought I would show you a clip from that video. It was very strange I was able to capture the light when we first saw it than the camera would not pick it up but to the naked eye it stood out as a ball of light just floating above the river. The one light became three but my night vision would not pick it up.
Here is the clip:

Hmmmmmm…..scratching my head?
We call them “spook lights” in western New York.

Last summer my sister and brother-in-law had a light over their stock pond. They photographed it from all sides it was just right above the water and it just sat there. It did have a reflection though. It was green.

I remember when you first posted this years ago, weird stuff. BTW heard you on the Confessionals podcast, great interview, and you has always been humble abt your experience and that’s something that makes you stand out, unlike your other cohost at the time that brought up his encounter every single time he was suppose to be interviewing someone else. Thanks for all the great years and for hanging in there.

In Lakota we call them Wanagi (a spirit or ghost).. or over water it could be Untunktahe – the spirit or god of water…
Kelly W
Or my Irish mother calls them Will-o-the wisps..

Is that Woody’s missing flashlight?…………………………No just kidin.
Were the lights greenish?
Could they have been bioluminescence?

This phenomena has been sweeping the nation and are being seen all over the place. Heck, even Finding Bigfoot folks saw them out in the bush during one, maybe several episodes. Kelly W above says her Lakota refer to them as Wanagi ( a spirit or ghost ). From my own experience I have thought of them as a surveillance sphere that UFOs send out from their ships. I know they have been filmed at dusk by cameras set up in crop circle areas such as SW England, only to find a new crop circle in the morning. Maybe they are all these things and more, each being different for it’s intended purpose.
My own sighting was the third Thursday of July, 1995. My buddy Rick and I were going north on the I-75 paralleling the Camp Grayling National Guard training base in Grayling, MI. It was about 8 to 8 30 pm, still plenty of light. The metal cans in Ricks truck bed started moving around and clattering. I turned my head to look back into the truck bed and one foot away from my face ( seperated only by the glass back window ) was this dull glowing whitish orb the size of a big grapefruit just riding along with us. Quickly I called Rick who was driving to turn and see this. As he was turning the orb then shot straight up at a fantastic rate of speed and out of sight in a second. Rick never got to see it to confirm and I caught some flak with our other buddies who we met up with in Gaylord, MI. That kind of stuff never bothered me much, they always considered me on the razor’s edge. It was not until 10 years later when I started to hear about others seeing such things that I began to ponder much about what this was, although I always thought probably UFO related, at least in my case. And that would make sense due to probable visitations since my youth in a crib up until about 40 years of age.
As a side note, nice capture Wes. The whistling got my dogs all stirred up and woke up my wife. I should have muted the speakers and put headphones on.

Lakota friends.. B. Goes in Center and L. Redhawk, and myself used to sit on a cliff face, over looking a deep valley here in CO. on St. Mary’s Glacier.. we would watch the lights move and dance threw the tree’s, many colors and different sizes.. the Utes have a oral tradition of this being a haunted place, having lived in this area for thousands of years .. we called them… Wahpetonwan… which in Lakota means those who live among the leaves or tree’s .. as Native people’s we have been watching these lights for countless generations..and I have never heard any story’s speaking of them ever harming anyone.. just saying Natively speaking..some tribes believe they are nothing more than spirits of ancestors, while others believe they are spirits of animals.. too beings of a different place.. so I guess its what you personally choose to believe.

Yeah it was strange the more we took interest in it the more it became interested in us…hard to explain.

See now, this video proves that real, strange, truly valid things happen when you are drinking 🙂
Excellent footage. Narration was the best! Wonder if they will show up here again.

Fascinating. There are quite a few videos out there on this phenomenon- it is indeed a strange and interesting world we live in.
