Strange news from a couple of years ago. Look how close his kids were. CBS in Texas reports “Lightning strike temporarily paralyzes east Texas man. He was unloading groceries when lightning struck the family’s SUV.”

Oh no! God Bless him. I was sitting outside on the porch watching the storm. Lots of thunder & lightning. Thought, this is nice, but better go inside. It was a wild storm in the North Cascades tonight. We seldom get lighting & thunder. But, so sad for this family. I used to do volunteer work with families who are their loved ones attendants. It’s very hard, so I’d fill in to give them a break. One of my best friends was a quad. He lived a long time in a chair. Bless this man.

He’s fully recovered. I’ll surely learn from this. Like don’t sit on the porch during a heavy rain storm with lightening and thunder happening all around. I won’t do that again!
