Could be she did. The San Gabriels are very rugged mountains. I used to hike several of the trails above Arcadia when I was younger and there are bear, deer, bobcat, ringtail cat and mountain lion that you wouldn’t think would be there in numbers. There’s supposed to be big horn sheep too, but I never saw one. So why not bigfoot? My son had an interesting story from a night visiting a supposedly haunted trail above Glendora – small rocks being thrown; a small tree shaking; a black shadow moving impossibly fast across a footbridge.
