A listener writes “Hi Wes! A friend and I were on a road trip down the California coast this weekend and found a very large track off the edge of big sur river on bobcat trail at the Andrew Molera state park.
We didn’t have a tape measure on us but I estimate it was 16” long. We were down here partially to check out the Bigfoot discovery museum and find the beach where Claire from episode 515 had her encounter.
Hard to know if we actually found the right beach and the area has developed so much since 1989 but what a find and a fun trip listening to encounters on the road.

I read about that area a little after it is mentioned here and it sounds absolutely beautiful. I hope you enjoyed the vast views with many great new memories and did not spend the entire trip within the minds trappings looking down the entire time for unnatural looking tracks:)

Great find, though very hard to see the seperate toes. I am not sure how long your exposed hand is, however it appears to be a about 2.5 times the length of your exposed hand.
