Large brow ridge, large mouth and receding hairline

A listener writes “I’ve been sort of stuck on whether or not I should even bother sharing my experience. On one hand I have a strong desire to talk about it with someone, on the other hand I feel like a crazy person whenever I picture myself describing what I saw. My issue boils down to this.. I’ve listened to a bunch of your shows, watched documentaries and such, but I have yet to hear of any description that fits what I saw.

To put it bluntly, what I saw was a very muscular old man with a large brow ridge, large mouth, receding hairline, covered head to toe with brown/gray hair (see-through in places), with very long arms, and that was approx. 7ft tall. With it I saw a brief glimpse of something moving behind cover that appeared to have golden blonde hair (almost yellow).

This looked like a man, not a gorilla. I saw it clear as day from 30ft. without obstruction. I saw it stand up, turn and make two one footed jumps into the woods that covered the better part of 20 Ft. One of those jumps, was onto and off of the side of the base of a standing tree, like some sort of parkour runner, like it was trying not to touch the ground or trying to clear a gap that wasn’t there.

Now like I said, I’ve heard you mention ‘dirty apes’, I  I’ve seen that footage from the 60’s (or 70’s whenever it was), and other things calling these things apes or gorillas, but this was not an ape, gorilla or monkey. It looked nothing like that footage from long ago. It was a crazy athletic 7ft tall naked hairy man out in the woods at 5:45 in the morning. 100% crazy I know.

So back to my issue, I’m unsure as to whether or not this even could be considered a Sasquatch encounter, or if it goes into a different classification altogether. Any feedback would be appreciated.”

Not crazy just one of many varieties, I don’t think anyone means they are apes when they say “dirty Apes” . Your siting sounds like the real deal, everyone is still trying to figure out what they are glad you shared.

Hi. This is what this show is here for. It would be very boring if all the interviews were alike. We are not at the place where we have this figured out at all. Your kind of sighting although not common is not unheard-of. Wes will be most appreciated of your experience and your treatment will be kind . BRING IT ON. THANKS

You saw a BF. There are no 7ft tall hairy old human beings that can do what he did. Sounds like an awesome sighting. This is exactly the place to tell your story.

Thanks for sharing, sounds like the sighting where man called authorities and then was told to leave area when he went back to see what they found. Was fishing I think and heard a dog approach wild man on other side of river. Is this the same sighting report that was posted before this one when witnessed from MG car? If not, it sure sounds like the same specimen! Great details and very interesting!

I have heard of stories like that many times. I bet that was in New York or at least up that way. You should do an interview. It would be so cool to hear it all.

Ed Brown has a youtube channel. On one of his episodes he’s talking about when his dad, or maybe it was his grandfather worked for the national forest as a ranger somewhere. the relative told him that sasquatch look human, not like apes. he had seen a dead one floating down a river nearby. considered tossing a chain around it and taking it in for identification but didn’t. said it was too big and he didn’t know how he could manage it. check it out-see if that fits more with the one you saw. probably just another variety.

Great account and appreciate you sharing it.

I use the term “dirty ape” as more of a joke than anything else. The DNA studies done on specimens purportedly obtained from a Sasquatch, show half human and half unidentified. Most, if not all, Native Americans considered them human. Many hunters are unable to shoot them, due to them looking so human.

I definitely think what you saw was a Sasquatch. I am curious to know where your sighting took place. Thanks!

Very good sighting, and well told. A lot of us call them apes – but in that respect, we are apes too. It just means some member of the “ape”/”primate” family like us and gorillas and chimps.
