Charlie forgot to ask size, etc, though that may have been hard for this Navy VET since it was long ago at 12 years old and really happened in a flash. Still extraordinary in that it swooped down from a hill with great speed and grabbed up a huge bird (probably some time of Vulture) that was dead on a logging road, with he and friend just a few feet away. I guess it just wanted that bird to eat.
