It would look all around like it was crazy

A listener writes “Hi Wes, I use to work nights in remote areas of NW Oklahoma. I’ve seen these things eyshine before. I only see one eye, as they are peeking around a cedar tree, or other cover.

Almost all have been green eye shine, like a deer, but brighter. I read the guys blog about the headlamp and he couldn’t see the outline. I had the same experience one night. I was on top off a tank battery gauging the tank, I always wore a super bright led headlamp (5000 Lums). I had that feeling again I wasn’t alone, I’m 20 ft above the ground and I look up at a tree line, and sure enough there is one eye looking at me. This one was different, it was about 100yds away and looked silver. I just stood there and stared at it. It slowly moved behind the tree, and I couldn’t see it again. I think me looking at it agitated it. I went down to the ground and hooked up my hoses, kicked on my loud pump on my truck and began to load. I was standing at the back of my trailer, when I herd what sounded like a train behind me. I thought there’s no train track out here. I could feel this growl vibrate my chest and organs. I could hear and feel it moving behind me from my left to right. I turned around and looked the direction it was going.

There it was about 50 yds away standing in a flat wheat field of stubble that had been cut. The eyes were at least two foot higher than I was. They were a yellowish silver color. They brightest eyes I’ve ever seen. They didn’t glow, only when I put my light on it. It stared at me, then would look all around like it was crazy. I was startled not sure what to do. So I ran around my truck and climbed the tanks. And it was gone. I should of seen an outline at that distance with that light. But no just those crazy eyes.”

Oh wow! That is scary! I’ve seen that color eyeshine. I told myself it was a deer but after looking the next morning I discovered that the shine was WAY higher than some tall grass. Deer don’t get that big around here
